It was disturbing that someone suddenly opened the door with a code at midnight without telling me. I only found out the next day that it was the housekeeping staff.

All the facilities are very user-friendly and provide just the right amount of help.

The fact that I didn't stay there longer.

The beds were soooo comfortable, and they were real beds not bunk beds, the roof was very high, and the sleeping room was clean, for the showers the water was hot,and they were cleaned regularily, and the socialising room looked like a phenomenal pinterest room for me, it has a variety of beautiful collected stuff, woody furniture everywhere, and beautiful peranakan tiles and design, booklets about penang and a collection of books, and a piano, a working one. I enjoyed staying in the socialising room, to the point that I started thinking that I should buy a house similar to that and settle there, The owner was so kind and helpful, and he came regularly to clean the house, and the location of the hostel was perfect close to anything you may ever need. I just loved this house, it felt like a real warm home, not a mere hostel, and I met lots of sweet girls there, what a wonderful experience! I wish there were more only females hostels like this one in every city.

The only minor downside is the bathroom design, since there's no separation between the shower and the toilet, the floor gets completely wet.

I stayed at this hostel for five nights initially and ended up extending my stay at another nearby place owned by the same host almost 2 weeks more. Both experiences were great! The owner, MK, is very kind and attentive, always willing to help. The atmosphere is cozy and starts to feel like home as you settle in. The place offers useful amenities like a fridge, microwave, and other kitchen essentials. The location is great, close to many tourist spots and also convenient if you're planning to take the bus around. I also had the chance to meet and connect with some lovely girls during my stay, which made the experience even more special. Overall, a great budget-friendly option with a warm and welcoming vibe.

It was such a cosy place. Penang is already beautiful but staying at this hostel made my experience more beautiful. Everybody is so kind there. Definitely recommend to everybody.

Nothing was amazing!

I don’t usually stay in hostels, but I’m SO glad I stayed here. Amazing location, with street art, quirky cafes and street food around the corner. I felt so safe here, the other women were friendly and kind. The owner is lovely and has a big heart. It felt like a home rather than a hostel. Thank you!

Safe, quiet and clean in a charming, old Penang villa with a small kitchen, comfortable sitting areas and a front porch with many plants in the center of Penang. It is my forth visit to Penang, and I always stay here. The owner is very kind and accommodating. The guests are lovely and considerate of each other. As only girls stay here, it is very comfortable and relaxing.

Had the most amazing time at this guest house! Location is ideal, close to everything from night markets, Love Lane if you want to party, Little India... everything is a short walk away! But the house itself is tucked away in a nice quiet street, with a cafe just accross the road. The place itself is gorgeous, and beautifully taken care of by Tomoko who comes around everyday! Mk is a fantastic host and I could not recommend enough staying at one of his accomodations. Ask him for advice if you need to know anything, he's super helpful. Thanks again 🤗

The bathrooms didn't have a shower curtain so they were like wet rooms. You couldn't lock the bedrooms and there was no lockers.
