How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Nothing to dislike.
This hotel is in an excellent location amidst an abundance of eating options and 711 type stores if you do not wish to eat in the hotel. We caught the complimentary shuttle from and back to the airport which was really convenient. Breakfast was one of the best we had during our trip to Malaysia. We fully recommend this hotel for an over night stop between flights when you dont want to travel into the centre of KL. The Lobby bar is a pleasant spot to enjoy a wine, cocktail or a beer which many hotels dont offer.

TV channels are basic cable.
Free shuttle to airport. Free luggage scale in the lobby. Friendly staffs. Towels are soft and smell fresh. Bidet is awesome.

Just a stopover Further than we thought from airport , free although infrequent shuttle - call to confirm but very nice to be off site , comfortable, clean meal extremely good standard for this level hotel anf reasonable price

It is a bit of a journey to the airport - 30 mins or so and can be a wait for the shuttle as run every hour
Property a good stop over hotel for a night between flights.

It’s not exclusively the Holiday Inn, but the bathrooms are a step lower than the floor. I misstepped and hurt my back which has impacted on my trip a bit more than I’d liked.
The Holiday Inn was excellent for a stopover. It was very comfortable - beds were great, air con was cool and the room was quiet. The breakfast buffet was great too.

They only offer shuttle to and from the airport. I hope they provide shuttle to other places or to the Holiday Inn Express in KL.

We booked a family room with bunk beds for the kids but these were tiny - more suited to 8 years and under rather than our (small for their age) 9 and 11 year old. I ended up sleeping on one and my daughter shared the double with my husband as she likes to sleep stretched out - which meant she was hanging off the bed (luckily I sleep curled up so I was just about ok). If you have younger children this room would be perfect for you.
It was great having a swimming pool, and we appreciated the free shuttle to the airport in the morning.

The chef cooking the eggs was the most unfriendliest and grumpy person I have ever met in my entire life at an egg station. A smile and a friendly "Good morning, sir. How may I help you?" will cost you nothing!!
Perfect location near the airport and many restaurant options nearby. Breakfast was amazing with a lot of options.; pity we could only eat there one morning because our flight was very early. Would recommend this hotel for a night or two to relax when arriving or leaving Kuala Lumpur.
