Need to pay for security deposit whereas the room are not in good condition. The aircond blower facing toward a wall which directly made the washroom feel so hot. They even didn’t have any good facilities

Toilet clean eventhough budget hotel. The room just ok don't expect more. Still can sleep comfortably. Near to ferringhi beach, just need to cross the road. Near pasar malam.

It just ok for the property, but the beach/water is muddy. Not suitable for kids.

I cannot think of anything that I didn't like.

Check in was smooth, staff was very nice. It is a big hotel, they turned the ground floor to a hostel. There is a water dispenser, relaxing area and 10 bed dormitory. Bed was clean and comfortable. There is no curtain on the bed , but that was not an issue as I was the only person staying there (later another person joined). The location is very good. Plenty of places to eat. The sea is only 3-4 minutes walk. Floating masjid, spice museum can be accessed by bus. I didn't have time, otherwise I would stay longer.

The toilet facilities wasn’t placed right. The sink was blocked by the toilet bowl. It was hard to use the sink. The shower head needs to be adjusted all the time. The bidet was leaking. Not enough water pressure.

The room was big, aircon was cold. The bed was nice and pillows were soft. A good place to sleep in. It is near the beach side. A few mins walk. Accessible place. Near the bus stop too.

The water pressure in bathroom could be better, intermittent high and low...perhaps the host might consider providing some complimentary coffee and tea supplies / mineral bottles in the room as well..

The location is just nice..walking distance to most of the restaurants and the beach also, the room is clean and the host is very helpful..smooth check in and check out process..the grocery shop just down the building if need anything..

Grand Star is just beside the Police Station, don't believe Google Maps! IT IS a bit uncortable: Switch for Air con and light ist outside the room, also the safety lookers. Windowless common room with water, frigde etc.

Simple, clean and perfect for our stay. Loved it so much we extended. The highlight definitely are the staff, ready to great you with a smile. Perfect location, close to everything. 5min from the beach.

Nice little hostel in the middle of the town. Close to the beach. Nice contact with workers. Quiet room and not too busy. They do have a water fountain for clean drinking water.

Mattress and pillow uncomfortable. Towel thin. Furniture dated. Locker too small. Neighbours very loud around 2am. TV didn't work.

Located near bus stop, the beach, restaurants, shops, ATM and scooter hire. Dorm clean, hot shower, good air conditioner and fridge. Can lock room and locker with key. Staff friendly.

This hotel has no lift. Should provide lift for the disable guest. My wife still not fit due to leg bone injured.

Parking lot very limited. The hotel should maximize and add more parking lots.

Don't expect to much....but it's quite worth the price when traveling with family....

Good location....I need a Batu Ferringhi area that makes it easy for me to go to the Night Market....it's the cheapest and closest hotel I can get....
