The bathroom was quite compact, making it feel cramped when occupying the space. Every time the shower was used, water splashed onto the floor and soaked the entire area around the toilet, leaving it damp and uncomfortable. Additionally, there was a lingering unpleasant odor that detracted from the overall cleanliness of the small toilet. The hotel is situated a considerable distance from the main road, which can make access somewhat challenging. However, using a ride-hailing service like Grab is an affordable option, although it may still present some logistical inconveniences for guests.

The lobby and staff provided an exceptional level of service, making check-in a smooth and pleasant experience. The bed in my room was spacious, allowing for a comfortable night's sleep, and the air conditioning worked flawlessly, keeping the room at a perfect temperature. The room itself was modern and tastefully decorated, featuring contemporary design elements that made it feel both stylish and inviting. Additionally, all the furniture appeared to be brand new, which added to the overall cleanliness and fresh atmosphere of the space. It truly felt like a well-thought-out environment for relaxation and comfort.

Parking or lack of. Please improve on this. You can't expect your guests to pay for parking that's not cheap and stay at your place. It's a nice hotel but because of the parking, I may not stay here again.

Perhaps the hotel can provide shuttle bus to CIQ. The walking distance can be challenging for the elderly.

Toiletries are complete, clean and nice smell all around the room and corridor. The room was clean and neat. Very comfortable. Security guard was nice and friendly.

Maybe can have something to hang out clothes? Like a rod or open cupboard? It was a little odd to hang out clothes over the mirror 🤣

I loved the spacious room. It was extremely clean and staff were very efficient. The breakfast while limited, was delicious. Although it was only for one day, I really enjoyed my stay here and will come here again for my short stays. Aircon was also cold and nice

Room was small but quite comfortable. Breakfast was good even though not many choices. Provide free shuttle service to the nearby mall.

Our room was facing the construction site, and unfortunately, some construction was still going on even after 7/8pm. Fridges should be placed in all rooms regardless of room types, and hangers should be provided, too.

Staff were very friendly. The hotel was clean. And there is a Smart TV with working TV channels (which I could hardly find for the past few hotels I've stayed in).

The mirror is facing the bed and no way to cover it and you have to crab walk between the bed and the TV which is very cramp.

The smell of the floor. Perhaps it’s not my cup of tea. Plus there wasn’t in house parking and there was a construction work right opposite the hotel.

The staffs service were excellent and attentive. Breakfast was good.

There's nothing to nitpick and honestly for a 3-star, it's pretty good. Breakfast was not bad. Unless one expects alot from a 3-star otherwise I think Fives Hotel Meldrum is good. And anything one could not find in the room, can simply check with the frontdesk or housekeeping and they will gladly help out.

I like it that the hotel is new and clean. Spacious room because I usually booked bigger room as I needed the space. Staff is helpful and nice (from doorman, frontdesk, food & beverage staff to housekeeping staff).

Very good basic hotel. Stayed for 1 night before onward journey. Walking distance from station but presently building work makes this interesting if walking. Big shopping centre across main road has plenty of good food outlets for dinner & breakfast was enjoyable.

Only downside was no view in the room.

Room was excellent. Comfortable stay, aircon was freezing cold, blankets, pillows and towels were clean. Overall great to stay in.
