The location is good but not perfect, and you need to take a grab to most places.

Staff were genuinely lovely from start to finish and deserve a lot of credit for that. The location in a heritage building is awesome, and it has been very well kept and maintained.

Ground floor room too noisy - it’s okay to accept noise from outside but not from guests making a lot of noise in the middle of the night when arriving late with children.

The hotel is a nice place to stay. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great and the rooms spacious. But you only get to know the true value of an hotel when you need something really special. In our case, we needed a taxi for 4 days to travel to different destinations. We only had 24 hours to find a solution and the receptionist Zul did a great job. He was super reactive, found a perfect driver and negotiated a better price for us. Really thank you again for your support!

Very pleasant rooms with old-fashioned décor and atmosphere... The staff and hotel are very helpful, as we arrived very late to check in. The hotel is well located, fairly quiet, close to the main street where the attractions are.

This hotel is so famous on YouTube some travel vlog will see it. So many a recommend on internet also But it's worth it. Beside the hotel ,have a breakfast corner there,so yummy ,and have most restaurants you can take a visit, walk 10min u will find.

Since the hotel is on the smaller side and has open walls between floors, noise can carry and occasionally be heard. While this is more of a construction-related inconvenience rather than an issue with the staff or service, it's something to keep in mind—especially if you're a light sleeper or traveling with young children or babies etc.

This traditional, homey, and well-maintained hotel was exactly as described in the pictures—and the staff and service exceeded all expectations! It’s in a fantastic location, the room had everything we needed, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. To top it all off, their daily complimentary afternoon tea was the perfect finishing touch. We’ll definitely be recommending this place and would love to return if we ever visit Penang again!

Great little hotel in a great location. Rooms were lovely, shower and bed was good. They have free afternoon tea everyday and the staff were lovely. Very good location to all the top spots.

We could unfortunatly hear noises from the other rooms and outside from the streets.

Everything was perfect, we had a spacious room and well maintained. Breakfast was really good as well as the tea time (special mention to that banana chocolate cake).

Lighting could be better and the inclusion of power outlet near bed or writing table would be nice too. The iron board was a tad too short for comfort while using.

The welcome drink was delightful. Staff was able to converse in English with confidence. Unfortunately I was not able to enjoy the afternoon tea as I had to be in a different location. It would be wonderful to be able to have breakfast instead of the afternoon tea as part of my stay.

Air conditioner could be stronger.

Comfortable and affordable in an excellent location bear sights and Michelin food outlets. Service was top notch especially from front desk Fazreen. Will return.
