I didn’t like the check in process because the don’t check you in u til literally three they “start” but I ended up getting my keys and room closer to 4 even though I was there at 2:54 or so

The AC unit is hard to manage, the breakfast buffet was cold and not enough towels in the room.

They are very stingy with the towels in the room and would not give us extra I had to use the towel My wife used for her her after showering and they always try keep rooms that face the street and have a balcony view unavailable or supposedly dirty but have you pay for the room with the balcony on the booking app. To many games being played.

In the morning, the cleaning staff have radios and you can hear the radio talk from down the hall. It wakes you up early in the morning.

The staff accommodated my request and a lot of hotels rarely do that. I will definitely come and stay again.

I mentioned them above. Just a few things.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel West Plaza. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, the whole hotel was very clean and nicely decorated. The staff was wonderful and most spoke English. The only reason I didn’t rate it a 10 was because the refrigerator didn’t work, no safes, and the heat in our room didn’t work. They have hair dryers but you have to request one and they only have a couple. If they are reserved already you’re SOL. Turns out none of that mattered, I never needed the fridge, I brought my own hair dryer and the room temp was fine. I took advantage of the Spa, for a facial and massage. My daughter met me there and we used the gym everyday. The gym has a great view of Tijuana. There aren’t windows in every room, which I read in another review. I was there for a week and felt I needed a window. I called and requested one which the Hotel graciously provided. I had room service twice, the food was very good and nicely presented. It’s nice to sit on the couch swing upstairs on the terrace with a view of the city. The Hotel is perfectly located off the beaten path. Only two blocks from Revolución St where all the fun happens. There is a bank and pharmacy one block down. No Taxi or Uber needed. My daughter and I had a blast in Tijuana. I hope to be back in which I will definitely be staying at Hotel West Plaza again. It felt like home. Safe! I highly recommend.

THIS IS MY 4TH TIME STAYING THERE CUZ I LOVE THE HOTEL. BUT THIS TIME FRONT DESK GIRL DIDN'T LET ME CHECK IN EARLY. OTHER TIMES THEY LET ME. NOT SURE MAYBE WAS BUSY I DONT KNOW. SHE WAS NICE. SHE JUST DIDNT LET ME CHECK IN 😁

The small issues I had with the room, we only had two towels, no small towels for the hands were offered or available, so we had to use one of the bath towels to dry our hands. So we were only left with one towel to take showers. The lock in the bathroom was loose and got on the way when closing the door.

The location of the hotel is very good. Is only a 5 minute walk to revolucion avenue where one can find stores, food and clubs. The staff was cordial and helpful. Although we only saw them once when we checked in. The room was clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were nice too. The TV was very big and it had a nice small refrigerator.
