Maybe for some people it might be a little difficult to find if it’s their first time there and it’s after sundown. But there are signs to guide you all the way in so we just followed the signs and google maps. About 10 minutes off hwy as the speed limit on the unpaved section is slow.

Great location. Far enough from the hwy that it was an extreme quiet environment. But not too far off that would interfere with access. The on sight property manager is fabulous! He will attend to any guests needs and also keeps this huge property meticulously manicured. We were fortunate enough to meet the wonderful owner of this beautiful property before we left. It was clear to us how much he cares about his guests. He was very helpful in recommending a good drive route to use for a great tour around this incredible valley of wines (and craft beer). We also enjoyed our morning walks around the graded path that runs the entire perimeter of this property (nearly 1km).

The only negative mark is the hot water. When taking a shower the hot water would come and go. The second person taking a shower had a hard time getting hot water.

The villa was bigger than expected and it had a kitchen with a full size refrigerator. Location was great, close to many wineries that we like to visit. Host was very friendly and professional. The staff was super helpful and waited for us to get the firepit going. Overall it was a great experience staying at Villa Victoria.

The Coverings/curtains were not adequate to block out the sun. They are very sheer, and the Villa has a substantial amount of glass window that allows for the full last of the sun to radiate through it. It is positioned in a way where the Villa takes on Full sun exposure, which makes the Villa very very hot. The second thing is the fan in the living room area doesn’t really help and keeping the Villa Cool. It’s stuffy and hot. The AC is in the bedroom. There’s also an indoor fireplace (Hearth) it is exposed and has its huge pipe/vent that is exposed in the living room. When used it becomes very hot and both pipe and hearth can burn anyone who may lean or touch it unintentionally..not good for kids to stay while in use. We were also charged $25 for per person for 2 extra guests..we rented two Villas. Firewood was $8.50.. some was donated by property but still needed to buy there’s. We were told there was bikes on the property but these were not offered to our group. No complimentary toiletries. We also did not receive additional pillows, or blankets for the sofa bed. Although we paid for the additional guests. There is only pillows on the bed in the bedroom. Check out time is early..11:00 AM. Versus other places that go out to 12:00 PM.. Are my accommodate a 1 PM check out when available. Also, a security deposit was charged in person… Come prepared for that, Lastly, the water heater/boiler is in the kitchen. It gives off a gas type sent and makes noise when the hot water is turned on in the kitchen or restroom.

The Property is located away from the main road. It is not paved. It is dirt road, so a truck with 4 x 4 would be best to get through the Hilly backside and onto the property.

Water took forever for the shower water to get hot and would randomly turn cold. The last two days we had no hot water in the evenings.

The heating was terrible. We all took very quick lukewarm showers. The living area was cold at night as well. The issue is that the heating is powered by a propane tank apparatus. We didn't see a carbon monoxide detector (or fire extinguisher) so we weren't comfortable leaving it on throughout the night. There's a very small fireplace that came with one log so that didn't do much either. Had the host provided warmer blankets it might of been ok, but the blankets are more decorative than functional for cold nights (this was early February). Lastly, the hosts had a very friendly dog, but he was out and about barking at 5:30 a.m. For the price of $220 a night I absolutely would not recommend.

Met with one of the hosts and he was great. Very friendly and even drove us to the store in his personal vehicle since we had taken a cab to the property. There was a miscommunication with him about the check out time. Looking back I think he thought I asked him what the check in time was. So checking out was an inconvenience since we had to hurry with our breakfast so that we could check out. That being said the host did give us a late check out, but her tone was very frazzled. We didn't see any other guests at any of the other properties, but it was VERY urgent that we checked out asap.
