The hotel is a bit far by the center of Punta Zicatela, therefore especially after the sunset it is needed to take a taxi. I was travelling solo, and I didn't feel safe to walk on my own after dark. The taxi is very cheap though, around 100 pesos one way.

Villa Bonobo is super nice and the breakfast was amazing as well. The staff is extremely supportive, polite and friendly.

We had such a lovely stay at this place. It was quiet and peaceful, with a beautiful view and a great pool to unwind by. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and the breakfast each morning was a real treat—fresh, tasty, and a perfect start to the day. The location was good—nice and tucked away—but if you’re not on a scooter, it’s a bit of a trek. That said, collectivos are easy to catch and will get you wherever you need to go. Overall, a really comfortable, welcoming spot with good energy and warm people. Would definitely recommend. THANK YOU DARLINGS 🤍✨

Staying at Villa Bonobo was an absolute delight! The dorm was super comfortable, spotless, and well-maintained, making it a perfect place to relax. The atmosphere of the whole place is just amazing—chill, welcoming, and set in such a cool location that makes it easy to unwind and enjoy the surroundings. But the real highlight? Alicia! She is simply the best—so joyful, warm, and always ready to share fantastic advice that truly enhanced my experience. For us (without a scooter or vehicle), the location was a little out the way - although it made for a great nights sleep away from the noise! Also breakfast isn’t served until 9 which is later than we would usually eat when we’re away and wanting to get out and explore.

We had a private room and it was really good value. The villa is lovely, the shared spaces are great and the pool is a real bonus. Also the free breakfast was excellent.

Scooter needed really as it's a bit of a walk from the main area with not very well lit areas at night. Front door sticking so may need fixing. It would be nice to see more social events here to bring people together.

This is my favourite hostel in La Punta area. It’s quiet, chill, clean and beautiful. The rooftop view is amazing, the staff are super friendly and helpful and the wifi is strong.

Nothing - everything wonderful

I absolutely love staying at Villa Bonobo! It was my 5th year in a row. The dorm is great ( just 4 beds), the pool is beautiful, the breakfast in the morning is the best of any hostel I’ve been to AND the staff is sooo friendly and welcoming ♥️

Incredible place. Great room, comfortable bed and clean area. The vibe of this place is awesome, we got to chat with the staff and Chris and even went out one night with Chris. The staff really care to make your stay enjoyable. Whatever we needed they were happy to suggest ideas or organise for us. Would highly recommend!

It was a little walk up from the beach (only 15-20 mins) if you were walking back alone it’s dark on a dirt road so probably better to get a taxi.

Loved so many things about this place, breakfast was so good, coffee and tea available, great WiFi, very large balcony, room and bed were clean comfortable and the staff were so friendly

Yes it’s not on the beach but is a very nice walk and the area is very quiet which is perfect.

This place is so nice, comfortable, and clean! The staff is incredibly sweet and very helpful. I would love to come back and stay longer. Definitely the best coliving in town!
