Nothing, it is a great place to stay!

The property is beautifully designed around the central swimming pool - it really gives a "hacienda" feeling. Staff was very welcoming! We and our friends seemed like the only guests because it was low season. The location is superb and very close to Chichen Itza (+/- 5 minute drive) which enables an early morning visit to Chichen Itza, ahead of the crowds. Very warmly recommended! It is also only 5 minutes away from the famous cenote Ik-Kil.

I was under the impression that the hotel had direct access to the Chichén Itza site, but this has been closed for a while now, so one must arrange transportation to and fro anyway, eliminating what was one of the most appealing features. The pool could use refurbishment and it’s water should be cleaner. The bed sheets were on the cheap side, but it’s a cheap place so normal. But the pillows provided for the beds should be better.

Very clean. Well appointed. Decorated nicely and charming. Good restaurant. Close to the archeological site. Good value.

Generally the food wasn’t great, lacked flavour and quite basic. A dinner and breakfast ‘meal plan’ was offered which represented value compared to a la carte, not including drinks. Over-priced for what you get, especially compared to the rest of our Mexican trip. But this is expected as there are limited options around the hotel and they can charge what they like as tourists will pay the prices.

The hotel is well located to access Chichén Itza and Ik Kil Cenote, easy to taxi to the sites for MXN 100. The pool was a welcome bonus later in the day to cool off. The rooms are fairly basic and a bit dated, reminded us of Mexico 30 years ago, but clean and everything we needed for one night. The eggs at breakfast were the tastiest we’ve had at a buffet in a while.

Lukewarm shower. Need to have method to shut off AC light which glares into face when sleeping. Restaurant food is mediocre…Hacienda across street is good for dinner.

Excellent value on quiet hotel road near Chichén itza. Rooms are small but comfortable. Nice landscaping around pool and around front of hotel.

Room was very small. Beds too small and quite unusual. They are built into alcoves in the room, turned sideways on the wall so only accessible from one side. Not good for a couple. Beds are firm but that was ok with us. WiFi did not work at all in the room. No TV.

Restaurant food was excellent. Grounds clean and well kept. Pool looked inviting, but it was too cold to swim in January. Staff was friendly. Good lighting in the room. WiFi worked well in the common areas. Meal plan very reasonable price. Short taxi ride to attractions

the property doesn't have any direct connection to Chichen Itza archeological site (it's no longer available) so you need to order a taxi to get to the ruins (walking too dangerous - too many cars driving); the bed linen was kinda damp and the bedsheets didn't feel or look fresh at all, so you were under impression that the bed wasn't properly made

Nice food, a breakfast buffet where everyone can find something tasty; the pool in the property in plus, the location was good, close to Chichen Itza archeological site
