The shower faucet needs to be repaired.

We enjoyed the lovely garden area, with the tres fuentes, every day we were there. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was very helpful.

Can I say enough good things about this little hotel? The location, on a quiet street across from the Parque Benito Juarez, was fabulous and a short walk from the Jardin and some wonderful restaurants. The hotel is an old colonial style home with the rooms set around the portale and a beautiful garden. Rooms are comfortable. There is a simple breakfast included and on weekends there is a discounted option for a brunch buffet which is delicious. Saturday breakfast was accompanied by a violinist. The owners were onsite and lovely and attentive as was the staff. Margaritas and beers could be had even when the restaurant was officially closed and inquiry as to were we might find a laundry resulted in our laundry being taken by the housekeeper and returned washed and beautifully folded the next day. A great hotel at a great price.

The breakfast was very good each morning. Some items on the menu were not available without charge but certainly enough for a full breakfast. The owners and staff were exceptional. I had a few issues when I moved in and they took care of everything. I began the trip alone and then a friend joined me. The owners try to make the place more than just a place to sleep. I was there for 2 weeks. They have little concerts in the courtyard. They were putting in a spa as I was leaving. Also, while I was there, they made another space into a courtyard bar. I walked everywhere from this location. It was above the park. You could walk through the park, day or night, and feel safe. (especially since I was alone) If you are looking for a Four Seasons property, this is not for you. This is for the seasoned traveler who likes to be in a typical setting. The town of San Miguel de Allende is a beautiful colonial town, and this hotel is representative of that style, once a home before being converted. If you are tired from a day of touring, they have dinner available some nights and also a chance to have a drink anytime. The owners treated me like family. It will be a highlight of my trip to San Miguel.

We stayed 4 nights at Tres Fuentes. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful. The grounds are large and very well kept. There are only 6 rooms in this boutique hotel so you get personalized service. The rooms are large and the bedding is luxurious. We had made to order breakfast and happy hour margaritas, all delicious. The hotel is across from a large park and we walked to the center of town every day. Great location. We felt safe even in the evening. We are planning to stay at Tres Fuentes again soon.

Each room looks out on the property's beautiful garden, and breakfast and other meals are served on a covered patio. We felt very private and secluded, and yet we were a short walk through the park to the town center and nearby restaurants. The owners and friendly staff made us feel more like house guests than hotel guests.

We could of done our homework, the Friday morning that we left was when the San Miguel parish church was having the Christmas tree and the park lighting turned on , other than that no complaints, looking forward on our return .

I did suggest that rather than putting bottled water in the room that they provide a filling station and a glass carafe with glasses in the room or something like that. Also need dispensers of shampoo, etc. rather than individual plastic bottles.

Beautiful, setting, short and flat walk to El Centro, beautiful park literally across the street. Friendly staff, comfortable bed. Good drinks and breakfast.
