Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThe toilet was leaking a little bit in the night. I am sure they can get this repaired and it should be sorted. The restaurant is not very active, they don’t have a lot of customers and the one time we ordered breakfast, the cheese didn’t feel fresh. But the chef checked and said it was ok, we preferred to cancel the order, and they did the very best to compensate us by not charging us for that. The staff did their best to accommodate. Lastly they need to do something in the location online when using Uber. The location is not well listed and takes us a few 100m away from the actual hotel.
Great location, very spacious and meeting our requirements with a toddler to use the kitchenette. We were able to do laundry as well. The place was always well cleaned and rooms were made everyday. Location was perfect to visit the city, people were very nice and helpful.

CanadaThe elevator key was broken from day one, and we had to walk down one floor to use it. Although we mentioned it several times, it was never fixed until the last day. At breakfast, only Americano coffee was included — for any other type of coffee, you had to pay extra. The place wasn’t clean enough and felt quite worn out.
Good and delicious breakfast but it not buffet. They have menu and you must choose from menu and the variety is not good. The room was big enough

United StatesRooms need better lighting as it was way too dim and I had to open the curtains and let natural light in.
Great location, just a couple of blocks from Reforma and Chapultepec Park. There were plenty of restaurants and shops steps away from the property. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again. The property also provided one-way free transport from the airport.

United KingdomCould do with a touch more lighting in the living room area once it gets dark. Also could do with washing up liquid and sponges in the kitchen. But those are minor things.
As a solo female traveller, I felt safe walking around the area the hotel was in. I had a very pleasant walk to the Anthropological Museum and around the park it was situated in. There is a 7/11 near the hotel for any little bits you want to pick up. Breakfast was good and it was nice to have a restaurant on site if you didn't fancy going out in the evening. Staff very friendly and helpful. Didn't speak fluent English at the front desk, but google translate worked and everything I asked for happened as expected. To be fair, the only things I asked for was a taxi to a tour meeting place at 5am and a last minute taxi to the out of City airport when the one I booked through a different provider didn't turn up. Internet in the room worked well. I've seen a few reviews complain about the noise as the hotel is next to a busy road, but in my 5th floor room the noise insulation worked well and you could barely hear the traffic. Excellent room size as well.

United StatesI believe that there needs to be much clearer messaging on the standards of this hotel. It is listed as a 4 star hotel but it is definitely not a 4 star hotel. If I had been presented with accurate information, my expectations would have been adjusted to such, making the experience much better overall. I was disappointed and searching 4 star service when there is none to be found. The original room we received looked like the picture online but also like it aged a good 10 years. The linens were dirty, it was very dark and you could hear the traffic. The floor and cabinets were peeling and the deadbolt was broken. There is a very small lobby with one person manning the desk and another person who helps with luggage. I'm in Mexico so of course Spanish is the default language but I've been many places internationally and 4 star hotels typically have multilingual staff. Although the personnel was very nice and helpful we communicated strictly through google translate. The next day we were moved to a new room with was similar in style but newer, cleaner and more sound proof.
The location was excellent we were within easy walking distance to the parks, the Museo Nacional de Antropologia and the Museo Nacional de Historia Castillo. There were also very nice restaurants and lots of tortillerias within walking distance. Once we switched rooms it was nice. It was spacious and the housekeeping staff did a great job. The personnel were very friendly and helpful.

I loved how centric this property is. You can walk to so many attractions in the city. We got an executive suite, an excellent value for our money. The breakfast was great daily, and the staff's attention was exceptional. They provided transportation or a fee, which was suitable for our party of 9.

United StatesThe lighting in the room was confusing and rather dim. The switches are all over the place and the logic wasn’t apparent. Labelling the light switches would be helpful. The shower area could use a shelf for personal items.
The location was the best! The very large park nearby included the national archaeological museum and other sites of interest. The neighborhood behind the hotel had plenty of convenience stores, pharmacies, cafes and restaurants. The hotel restaurant served good breakfasts although the open air terrace was very cold in January. They did use space heaters and had lap blankets available and the food arrived hot. The apartments were spacious and the small kitchen well stocked, ours did not have dish soap but the cleaning personnel washed our few dishes for us each day. The double pane windows lowered the street sounds considerably. All rooms face the busy street with a magnificent view of the roads and the city buildings, lit up colorfully at night. The blackout shades worked well. Each floor of the tower we were in had only 2 apartments. We did hear our neighbors one evening enjoying a football game! The staff were helpful and friendly.

BrazilPhotos on Booking.com don't really match the real state of the rooms, which are actually much simpler. This is not a four or five star hotel, it's more like a three-star venue, but it's comfortable anyway. Main negative points are the shower area, which could have some shelves so that we could arrange our stuff more easily, and the lighting of rooms, which is too diffuse and dark. Finally, breakfast is not served as a buffet, guests need to select a couple of options in a menu that offers limited vegan and vegetarian options. Also, the rooftop restaurant gets quite cold during winter and has only four or five tables, so it gets crowded easily.
The location is excellent, at a walking distance from Bosque Chapultepec (and all the wonderful museums located there) and public transportation. There are also several nice restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and cleaner than average, and the small kitchen is definitely a plus. The staff is always very courteous and ready to help.

RomaniaThe rooms had very low ceilings, quite strange. Felt a little claustrofobic.
The value for the money was very good (77 euros). The price was for a hotel room, but we got an apartment with two bedrooms. The location is convenient because it is close to Polanco, but also to Reforma and Juarez colony. The restaurant was exquisite, and the breakfast included was delicious.

MexicoThe place looks old and out of fashion. Needs some works to bring the facilities to actuality. The noise from the street gets to the room, so sound proofing will enhance the experience and sleeping quality.
Location is perfect, surrounding areas are walkable and full of things to see, do and taste. Check in is really fast, the breakfast is very very good.
