The hotel staff welcomes you so kind and friendly that we felt right at home. They gave us all an ice cold wet towel and cold water to cool down after our journey. The hotel is situated perfectly to discover the island. The rooms are lovely, clean and comfortable. And! They smell so nice. We received a bag with beach towels per room. So nice. The breakfast at the oceanfront is so good!! And the staff is always smiling, helping and just great.

Literally cannot fault it

All the amenities you would need is at this hotel. Room wise probably isn’t the most aesthetic hotel compared to what you have on the island however the rooms are fully equipped. In my opinion, the hotel looked stunning but most of all the customer service was impeccable. I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else!!! They even have incense in the rooms to help you relax & a carafe where it’s encouraged to fill up with water whenever you like. It definitely is exactly what the name says siesta and just the whole vibe of the place was incredible. The staff are one of a kind the buggies pick you up and take you in for breakfast. The beach club Hamacas where you get breakfast is so popular for a reason it’s great you get to stay there the whole day if you like the beaches right in front of you and you get a mill for free as well as discount on any meals you get throughout the day !!! Hotel Siesta doublecheck every morning what time you’d like to get picked up for your convenience and the fact that they are so accommodating as a solo Traveler I felt so safe and looked after. I genuinely so sad that I didn’t stay for longer because I had other plans on my trip but had I known how in love I would’ve felt, with the hotel and Isla Holbox would’ve stayed !!! Ramon the hotel driver was a delight such a kind person and always ready to take you where you need to go!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and can highly recommend it. The staff was exceptionally kind, helpful, and always available through WhatsApp, making it incredibly easy to get assistance whenever needed. The location couldn’t have been better, right in the heart of the city and close to the beach, which made everything easily accessible. My room was spacious, quiet, and spotlessly clean, providing a very comfortable and relaxing environment. One of the highlights was the breakfast, which was a pleasant surprise – it was delicious and well worth the short taxi ride each morning, with a taxi always ready to take us there. Overall, a fantastic experience with great service and perfect location.

Our bathroom was quite small. The beach club was great however you had to arrive early to get the beach chairs as there were only a few available for free for the Hotel Siesta residents.

The staff at the hotel are super friendly and helpful. The room was nice, the beds very comfortable. We were given beach towels to use and able to swap out every day. The taxi to and from the beach was a great perk! Overall was a great stay, and central location in town. The breakfast was delicious!

Review for Siesta Hotel Holbox I had a great stay at Siesta Hotel Holbox! The room was lovely—spacious, clean, and equipped with all the essentials. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was a blessing in the warm weather, and the Wi-Fi was reliable throughout my stay. The bed was super comfortable, and the room had a great vibe overall. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with a smile. The hot shower was a nice touch, and everything in the room worked well. The only thing missing was a mini fridge, which would have been convenient, but it wasn’t a major issue. Breakfast was a highlight—delicious avocado and salmon toast paired with fresh juice! For the price, this hotel is an excellent choice, offering comfort and great service. I’d definitely stay here again!

Everything is beyond expectations. Service at Siesta, the Hamacas restaurant has amazing food and the best beach in Holbox. I hope we can return soon.

The rooms were quite dark and would have preferred one larger double bed, instead of two fairly narrow ones, but this seems to be a common thing in Mexico.

Stayed 3 nights here. Absolute highlight was the truly excellent breakfast, and very friendly and professional staff. Even though the breakfast is not in the hotel itself, but at another beach club, it was not at all a problem as you could then choose to spend the rest of the day there, also transport to the beach club was provided for free (we chose to walk most days however). The rooms themselves were clean and simple but perfectly adequate as you spend most of the time out of doors. Also the toiletries provided were above expectations. Staff were also very helpful in suggesting and planning activities, also giving good suggestions for the remainder of our trip. Hotel itself situated in the middle of the action of town close to all amenities/restaurants etc, but rooms are still quiet.

We stayed there for 2 nights, and regreted not staying longer. The girls were amazing, they helped us with tours and restaurant recommendations, and everything was very well organized. The breakfast at Villas Caracol was amazing as well. For us it's a 10/10.
