Good food, that ceviche de camarones by the swimming pool was delicious

Some construction it’s happening, but other than some noise everything else was pretty good

This is the second time we stay in this hotel (2022 & 2025). It is clean, personnel is always open and ready to help.

In general everything was OK but now (2025) the hotel has an "extension" with new rooms and naturally more guests. It was a little a pitty that the quite place we remembered. Also, they should take into account the experts feedback that night shows in front of the beach (lights and music) can interfere the turtles activity.

Restaurants are really good. Proximity city center.

I stayed at this hotel expecting a relaxing vacation, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. I specifically asked twice for blackout curtains, and despite following up, they were never installed (they said they would install the next day) nor was I offered any alternative. This might seem like a small detail, but if you're hoping to sleep in during your holiday, it's a big issue. The room lets in a lot of sunlight, and by 6:00 a.m., it's bright enough to wake you up. If rest and sleep are important to your stay, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. The lack of response and follow-through from staff was disappointing. The beach is definitely not suitable for swimming, especially if you have kids.

Location was amazing. I like the easy and private access to the beach and the private pool had such a nice view.

I loved the food mostly Marea and Aroma outstanding restaurants, If it wasn’t for the food I don’t know if I could have stayed there. I have heard about the food and that’s why we chose it. Otto another good restaurant but not like Marea and Aroma. I heard that Forno was amazing but ran out of days to try it. Not all the restaurants are equal. Incredible this place has so many restaurants for such a small place. But amazing. The beach was peaceful super clean the staff very accommodating and very sweet people. The staff that was in charge of cleaning our rooms were superb. My room was beautiful loved the new remodeled rooms. The way the lighting around the bed and simple decorations were beautiful Some nice side view to the ocean not much but at least looking at the mountain. The entertainment was really nice and fun.My favorite was the couple that sang traditional Mexican music and her voice was Angelical “what a voice of that soprano” The beach was awesome super clean felt very private because it’s the last hotel in that area and next to the mountain , the water was so calm and just so warm and pristine.

The old rooms are very nice and bright but completely outdated. Horrible decorations and the shower barely had water coming out. The security box we called someone to come and open it for us and never did. They had no drawers to put clothes, The gym completely outdated and not good ventilation. NO towels to clean ourselves nor special towels to clean the machines or weighs. My parents stayed in the old rooms which were supposed to be more expensive because it had a better view to the ocean but still very outdated. My room was looking at the mountain in the top floor beautiful remodeling very nice colors but terrible lighting in the bathroom or closet. I couldn’t see the drawers or the security box was it was too dark. The bathroom was very pretty and they used the same dark green colors in the bedroom but they should have put way more lights if you want to get ready and put some make up there is no way you can see. They are lacking towel racks or at least somewhere to hang towels as well as a clothesline. Clothes don’t dry outside because is super humid. Also will be nice if they put some tissues installed inside the bathroom they have the space but lacked that detail. My brother had his room changed because it was worse than my parents. They moved them to the same building where I was thankfully looking out to the mountain if it was on the other side the rooms face to the parking lot which is not pretty at all. The place needs a lot of remodeling. Pools are a little too small for that many people. Luckily we were at the beach the entire time. Otherwise too cramped. Also there was no place where we could go and play some games and use a table. We later found out we could go to the bar Agave next to the Marea to order some drinks so we could gather and play some games .

The location close to the beach.

I booked a room with a Mountain View and was placed in a room with a view of the parking lot (no mountain in sight). After bringing this up to the staff - they tried to justify this by saying our room was “categorically” in their system as a Mountain View room…. They refused to make up for it by providing some sort of voucher for a drink, or a meal. This hotel is rated as a 5 star hotel on google, it is most definitely not. There was construction everywhere around the property. The gym equipment looked like it was all falling apart, electrical cords running over the equipment, it felt like an accident waiting to happen and hazardous. We were excited to eat breakfast in one of their breakfast restaurants with a view of the ocean and we were told that it was bought out for a private party. The staff was, over all, very rude and not accommodating. The best part was the proximity to the beautiful beach.
