Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The host was an amazing host! We stayed at her apartment in Cancun for four days and really got to know her. She’s also a yoga instructor, so if you’re interested, I highly recommend joining one of her classes—it’s a great experience. The apartment is in a fantastic location, right across the street from a dock with affordable excursions. It’s also just a short bus, taxi, Uber, or inDrive ride from all the action, making it super convenient. Inma was always helpful, responsive, and accountable whenever we had questions. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again. Highly recommend!

Perfect location for us as we were going to Isla Mujeres the next day. Ferry terminal is across the street. Excellent communication with the host, the best I've ever had!

United StatesEverything was easy and nothing to add from the place. Perhaps I wish there were more restaurants and food options closer to the address. But nothing that a quick walk or bus ride can fix.
The apartment was pleasant, relaxing and really beautiful. I was truly surprised by the space, balcony and how comfortable everything was. The pool upstairs and the view is truly a great perk that I truly enjoyed. The sunset was amazing. The beach is a few blocks away and there is a convenience store right below the building. During my stay the host was so hands on and ready to help. I would say one of the most caring hosts I have ever encountered in all my travels.

United StatesThe apartment is freshly renovated and super clean. All the amenities as advertised. The roof with the pool has great views. The pool itself was a bit cold (December). There is an OXXO minimart on the ground floor of the building, very convenient. R-1 and R-2 bus stop is nearby, they run every 12 minutes and cost 12 pesos.

Our host was very accommodating when my partner and I arrived to Cancun several hours early. We were able to check in early and get comfortable before going out to explore. She was very communicative the entire 5 day stay. The apartment itself is beautiful and was spotless when we arrived. The pool and the view from the pool was amazing! A perfect location for hopping on the bus to either downtown or the Hotel Zone. I would absolutely book again.

LithuaniaI don't know why this hotel is rated so highly. The main room has a door that connects to another room, so all the noise from the neighbors comes through that door. There are two bathtubs in the room and none of them had soap. There was also no shampoo or basic toiletries. No one cleaned the room in 3 days. The dishes in the kitchen are very poor: the pan is burnt, the pots are dirty. There is no view through the window.
There is a large balcony. There is a place to park the car. There is good internet and air conditioning.
