Great location, if your a light sleeper get a room at the back of the hotel, weekends can be quite loud at the front of the hotel.

It's a great hotel Looks amazing from the outside and inside Clean rooms and restrooms. But it's a noisy location because all the bars are around. So music it's loud all night long until 5-6am. Be aware but its a good comfortable hotel.

- room was rather small - the reviews are correct: there is a lot of noice until 4am on any day of the week - plaza garibaldi is safe but everything around it is very shady. Walking back from the center at night is rather scary

- close to the historic center - not very expensive - breakfast included, ok but basic - 24h chicken

They could use sound proof windows/doors. Too noisy from clubs surrounding the hotel. mattress is way toooooo old and messed up.

The location was good. Part of mariachi Plaza and within walking distance of city centro. The only disappointment was the A/C units were not turned on and no air circulation. Room got uncomfortable and when reported they said all units were turned off. Management decision.

Very noisy area and rooms as we even had to ask to be relocated which the staff allowed us to do at no extra cost (we could still hear the noise and music but it's expected at Garibaldi Square).

Mariachi Square is just to the left as you walk outside the lobby. Mariachi musicians will approach anybody standing still for a moment and harangue their captive audiences for donations. They are easy enough to avoid and initially can add an authentic ambience to a stay in CDMX, but after that not so much.

Clean and the healthy breakfast offerings covered all the bases. The location is safe walking distance from all City Center destinations, but just far enough away to be outside the commotion.

Bythe end of 10 days I was overdosed with Mariachi and local club noise...But a small price to pay for such a great stay!

Daily breakfast was tasty and hearty.Staff were always friendly and helpful.Room was kept impeccably clean and tidy by house keeping...Mil gracias to all the staff!

Only one thing - noise from the street, loud music until 5 o'clock. It was much better when we closed the door, but there was no fresh air and it was too hot. Thanks for Roberto who gave us a fan and the next night was O.K. And not everyone speaks enough English, except Roberto and the young lady.

The furniture is old, doesn't really looks like in the picture and the room needs a remodeling. We can sleep almost everywhere, but the music from outside was very loud and it went until 7-8 o'clock in the morning. If you have problem sleeping, this is not a place for you.

The hotel is in piazza garibaldi, which is like 15 min away from zocalo and palacio bellas artes. The room is spacious enough, and they offer breakfast, which doesn't have that many options.

We had a balcony room, and it was loud all night long. There is a club next door, so the noise comes through the wall on the odd-number side. I will stay here again, but ask for a room on the even-number side, and further down the hall away from the noise in the front. The wi-fi in the room was inconsistent. Worst part about the facility is that many of the electrical outlets in the rooms didn't work - both our room and our friends rooms. We reported it to the desk, but nothing happened.

The beds were comfortable, the location was great. The shower had consistent pressure and hot water. We loved hanging out in the plaza. I think this place was a good value for the money.
