The first day hot water wasn't running. I really needed a hot shower. Internet was a bit slow to work from my room.

Location is great, right in front of ADO downtown Cancun. But if you plan to do activities, or go to the beach during your stay, I recommend to go for another option, near the hotel zone or in Isla Mujeres. I was working remotely, and had transit days in Cancun while flying back from Madrid. In my case I paid an extra night at Selina in Isla Mujeres, and it was really convenient.

We stayed there twice because of its proximity to ADO. No other reason. Reception staff were so unhelpful and off hand. We couldn't adjust the a/c and the room was FREEZING! We were refused an additional blanket, even after revisiting reception for a 3rd time. Finally a lovely male porter went and got 2 from another room after i put my ice cold hand on his face to explain. Outrageous! We had recieved an upgrade that time so the room was reasonable other than the temp. The next room we got was shabby and impossible to clean because of holes in the tiles and old mouldy grout. The linen was grey and threadbare, and the pillows were foul.

The room has a bit of a damp smell to it. That is really the only negative.

We wanted to be by the ADO bus station and it's right across the street. The room we requested was not ready, we were given an upgraded room with a balcony without asking. We were only there for about 18hrs, so we didn't have a chance to try the pool or the restaurant. The bed was comfortable and it was very quiet. All in all it met the need that we had.

Some areas are looking tired and in need of renovation.

Ideal location for anyone arriving or departing via bus as it is right next to the bus station but as buses arrive and depart via a back road this does not interfere with the hotel or cause any noise or disturbance. Excellent for anyone with disabilities as there are no stairs, and all levels can be reached via wide-sloping walkways. Restaurant serves good, reasonably priced meals.

The bathroom "door" was a clear shower door and it faced a mirror so there was zero privacy while using the toilet. Also- the window shades didn't close so anyone could look right into our room.

We woke up early the next morning and took a bus to another town so the location was great for that.

A ticking sound that was going on overnight; an adjacent suite had an wake-up alarm that kept going or an hour at 5AM; not too bad but oh well I still got rest.

Not good ventilation. Not enough towels; only 2 towels for 3 persons.

The bathroom was very basic and outdated. With concrete white walls and practically no windows my room was not the kind of place you'd want to spend free time, although it was fine for a one night stay before catching a bus

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Perfect location if you're looking for something close to the bus station.
