It could be noisy with the children playing in the evening( it was school holidays at the time ) but we enjoyed the pool as well

I stayed there on 2 occasions as I liked it very much. There were some happy noises coming from the pool til 10pm which is a lovely sound but it reverberates and I like an early night.....not enough to put me off staying....

The pool is the main attraction of this hotel. It's a large hotel professional staff. Comfy bed. Good location in Playa del Carmen.

WIFI doesn’t work properly. It kept disconnecting in the rooms, and I tried all the different wifi options. There was a router in the room but it also didn’t connect. I had an important meeting and it cut off in the middle due to disconnecting, and I could never connect again for an hour.

Amazing interior design with a big pool. Rooms has safe box which is amazing. Reception has AC, when I arrived it was great. The rooms are very big and clean.

A good hotel just 7mins walking from the beach and the 5th avenue. It was a bit noisy in the evening because all the rooms have windows to the common area with a swimming pool.

Great location. You can tell the hotel has gone through a major renovation! A part from a little issue with the shower faucet and no curtain to prevent water to flood the bathroom (issue solved after asking maintenance to be performed) the stay was pleasant. The breakfast is served in a nearby restaurant (I wish there was more choice though, since it's a 100% Mexican menu). Maybe a little too pricy l, since it lacks amenities.

The hotel is great value. There is not much room in the pool area if you want to sit on a chair, poolside. The rooms don’t have much hanging space for clothes or towels.

No where to lounge around the pool in the sun. Only had 3 loungers and pool is always shaded.

Only a few blocks off 5th Ave and the beach. Only 10 min walk to the ADO.

Seemed to take forever to check in. Room not very nice, run down and quite dirty, particularly the bathroom.

We were booked in as part of a guided tour, wanted to arrive a day earlier, so made sense to book into same place. Pool lovely but mostly in shade and beach so nice we preferred to go there instead. Good location, not far from beach.

Wifi was a bit dodgy, depending on how many people were using it at any given time. I downloaded entertainment when the wifi was working and so it was not a big issue.

As a solo female traveller, when you go to a new city (and I arrived after 10 pm, in a rain storm that impacted the wifi) it is always nice to be greeted by helpful friendly staff. I felt comfortable and safe.

It's unnecessary to change the towels every day! We needed to put Don't disturb sign on the door that the towels (and linen?) wouldn't be changed unnecessarily. Wifi worked only sometimes even we had a router in our room (2nd floor). The room had two windows: one facing the corridor and one facing some other building. We didn't have much daylight as we didn't want people look inside to our room when they walked in the corridor so we kept the curtains closed. The other window was so close to the other wall we didn't see anything from the window. This didn't bother us too much as we spent most of the time outside.

Nice pool. Very quiet at night. Great location in the center. Fridge was a big plus same as the water refilling station in lobby.

Fast check-in. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. A nice new, little elevator to use. Close to Walmart, Fifth Avenue, ADO bus station, the beach etc.Can't go wrong for the money.

*On christmas eve we didn't have water. I went to reception and the guy that was working there instead of solving the issue, he complaint because he was not spending Christmas with his family. It was uncomfortable not having water for the entire night and morning. After complaining for the second time the next day, we were given another room to use the toilet, but I didn't get any compensation back for it as expected. *Small detail, the room didn't have bedside table lights which would have given a nice atmosphere.

The pool area looks beautiful. It is very clean with room service every day.

The hotel was very good for our needs. As I mentioned it appeared to be new or freshly renovated and did not have any towel hooks , sitting chairs within the room. No coffee maker in the room but it is well priced and available within a few steps.

We were pleasantly surprised that the hotel was such a good facility as we booked very last minute in between Christmas and New Years. The room we given appeared to have been either brand new or newly renovated. There was a mini fridge and wardrobe to hang clothes. The hotel had local style restaurants and street food within a few steps and fancier restaurants and the Playa and 5th Avenue and an ADO bus station a few minutes walk away.
