Food not always hot. Food should not be allowed to be eaten in the pool itself and kids pouring drinks in.

For the amount of money we paid the food really disappointed me. The buffets were the same every time and there was not a lot of choice in dishes. Also the pools are closed by 8pm what was really early.

There were lots of sun beds that we could even change multiple times during the day. The pools were really clean and we loved the pool bars.

The wait time at the Mexican Restaurant...it was over an hour wait time for our food.

I LOVED snorkeling in the hotel, there were so many beautiful fish I couldn't have enough! This hotel is wonderful if you like snorkeling. It was clean, and the area was very safe! A special thanks to Christina at the Front desk, she was amazing! Juan and Rene at the restaurant Pescador, very attentive and helpful...we liked this restaurant best and kept going back for lunch/dinner...so good! Antonio at the Mexican restaurant, very courteous and helpful. They took forever to serve us, I'm not sure if they were shorthanded or something but it was a very long wait after we were seated. Not Antonio's fault for sure. Also thank you to Giselle at The Veranda, she was very sweet and helpful.

The food is terrible. More variety in the morning would be nice. It’s basically the same thing every morning. The specialty restaurants were not good. The food was cold most of the time and the quality was poor. The buffet was okay.

Dated property. Food was sub par. I didn’t like that guests were able to “save” beach chairs and palapas and not even be around for the better part of the day.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Grounds keeping was good. Staff was always busy cleaning.

The only drawback was the food. I have stayed at Park Royal in the past, 10 years ago to be exact. I remember the food being exceptional. This time I was surprised at how mediocre the food was. Breakfast was probably the best.

The location of the property was fabulous. The pool, the view, the beach and the ability to go diving through the third-party vendor on site was wonderful.

The room and beds. Light in our shower toilet room kept going out which is scary and dangerous while taking a shower! We called several times to have someone fix but didn’t happen. We had a small flashlight we used in meantime. Beds not comfortable at all.

The grounds were so beautiful and moved the little beach with great snorkeling. Staff was very attentive at restaurants

We had some issues from the get go. Room not ready at 3pm. After arriving a little after 1pm, and asked for early checkin days prior, we didn't get to our room until almost 5pm. Fridge was not stocked until the 3rd day. Shower was either cool or blasting hot so not super comfortable. The first 2 days there, the elevator from the front desk down to the main area was broken. I just had both knees totally replaced and was vacationing for some relaxation and those stairs about did me in. The whole place is limestone walkways and for someone like me who doesn't have good balance due to recent surgery, it was a challenge. Not sure how often the pools get cleaned, but the "adult" pool by the beach was not clear/clean the whole 5 nights/6 days we were there. The location is right by the pier for the cruise ships so if you venture out away from the resort, things are crazy expensive. Once I took a taxi into town and prices were back to normal in town.

Food was pretty good and buffet was different each night so not stuck on the same things. Drinks were plenty for sure. Atmosphere was good and shows were a nice added touch. It's big but not too big that you can't get from one side to the other quickly. Staff was really nice and helpful.

There is no beach. The tiny access filled up with people, there were not a chair available and the strip is located by the dock, so I wouldn't be swimming anyway. Our coffee in the room never got replaced.

Great stuff, friendly and professional. The beds are comfortable. The food is good, especially the fruit. The most memorable was the Mayan performance. It was the best resort performance I've ever seen!

Get new chefs every restaurant and buffet was not good. But at least they always had fresh fruit and salad bars that kept us going!

The hotel was beautiful and the staff was amazing! The food was awful and the AC didn’t work very well. Everything thing was so clean wherever you went on thr property and the staff would go above and beyond friendly!

Everything on the beach side is pure concrete… even on the beachvolleybal field was just a few mm of sand and under it … hard concrete. Sitting area around the entrance (ground floor) way too small. Not enough sun beds … by 7am all beds reserved with towels etc… Food was good , but very little diversity.

Loved the infinity pools with swim up bars, the private beach/snorkeling. The staff was amazing, friendly and so accommodating, able to book scooters, snorkeling, diving. We were able to walk to a few places outside the resort, ATM, Pharmacia, restaurants and felt very safe. The all inclusive restaurants were great, lots of options for food. The bed was so comfortable!
