I cannot think of one thing I didn't like. Everything was beyond perfect.

I cannot begin to explain how special this place was. The obvious talking points are the location, landscaping, amenities and services, but the most important factor my partner and I took away from the experience was the genuine kind attitude from all of the staff. Every staff member had a smile that didn't seem forced, a great sense of humor, and legit made me think - I want that kind of job. What they do is so hard - dealing with so many personality types and having to maintain a positive attitude - and they made it seem so easy. I've stayed at several places with high-end amenities in beautiful locations, but the staff went above and beyond our expectations.

Having stayed at various One and Only’s across the world we were especially looking forward to a relaxing stay at Palmilla. It exceeded our expectations and more. The natural beauty of the location and the staff at this property are second to none. Like other O&O hotels the grounds are kept in pristine condition and room furnishings very comfortable and in keeping with surroundings. Every single staff member we came into contact with were fantastic. Big thanks to Butlers Jonathan and Enrique who couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating and thanks to Carlos and Alfonso on the private dining team. If relaxed luxury is what you’re looking for look no further than O&O Palmilla. Very much looking forward to returning in the future.

This hotel is incredible. The location, ambience and service is faultless. Stayed for 5 nights in late July with 2 (late) teen boys and we were all blown away. Probably the most special place we have ever stayed. With the most exquisite attention to detail and staff.

AC didn’t work properly the first night, they said it was repaired during the day, had to call them back and then it was repaired.

Breakfast was wonderful. Staff is very attentive. Property is immaculate and beautiful.

Breakfast and Staff were amazing. Bartenders at Aqua were incredible. Kids Club staff were so kind to everyone (kids and parents). Gym staff was very helpful.

This was literally the best vacation of our lives.  The accommodations were exceptional, the food was unbelievable, and the staff was beyond our expectations.  Tha one and only Palmilla holds a special place in our hearts and memories. We cannot wait to go back.

We had an issue with the air con in our room on the third night, they moved us to another room but unfortunately the shower had a tiny issue. They ended up upgrading up to a huge one bedroom suite for the rest of our stay to apologise for the inconvenience. To be honest. We were happy with our room. It was beautiful but we didn’t need a colder unit as it’s was 39 degrees. It was a very minor issue that was sorted immediately.

Superb location, beautiful surroundings. The food is out of this world. The staff do their very best to make sure you are comfortable and attentive to your needs. The pool the beach, the vibe is outstanding. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. You have to try the ceviche trio, yummy. The cold plunge became my favourite morning routine. It’s a must try.

Some things were a tad expensive, unnecessarily so. A small glass of milk delivered to the room for our baby was $45 USD. When I complained, they cancelled it off the bill, but something like that I’d expect for free when paying so much to stay here.

Service in the restaurants was very good, attentive. Our butler seemed hopeless. He asked us what we needed during our stay (i.e., turn down after 20:00). Nothing we asked for happened when we asked. Also, cost is excessive at the property. Not great value for money. Mexico does not warrant French or Italian costs. It just doesn’t. The food is not nearly as good and, generally, the service is not as good. I like Mexico but no way the value measures up to the cost. I would probably go back but I will look at other options. One more thing, 15% mandatory service for everything??? They are joking, right? I’m sure Americans will continue to go but it’s because they either haven’t been to Europe or don’t have easy access to great holiday destinations. Sorry, I’m an American living in Europe and I have a home in Southern California. I would be reluctant to recommend Palmilla to anyone.

We purchased an ocean FRONT room, however, received a room that I would describe as ocean VIEW since we were behind a Villa and we had to look over the villa roof to see the Sea of Cortez. That was our main disappointment. Also that we asked about a beach cabana rental two days in advance and were told there was a waiting list and instead we could get a more expensive one that we didn't want. Then the evening before the day we requested, we got a text saying it was available. The day of our rental, the other cabanas were empty except for one and so I feel like they tried to upsell us and weren't honest about the availability.

The staff were friendly, attentive and excellent! The landscaping and grounds are gorgeous and well maintained. The pools, restaurants and common areas were all beautiful and comfortable.
