How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The bathroom could be a little bigger. I kept hitting my elbow in the door as I was closing it behind me.
The accommodation was clean, offered excellent water pressure, and had a great price. Breakfast was included in my booking, and the air conditioning was superb. It was quiet, despite being near the main traffic, and the staff were friendly and helpful. On-site parking was a huge advantage since finding parking in Mexico can be very challenging.

Rooms are small. Concierge told us that when we spoke with them prior to arrival, so we were not surprised. It was just one night, so it was fine. If we were staying longer as a family of 4 we would have booked a larger hotel room for us.
Clean, friendly staff, easy to get to from the airport, great breakfast (included)

They were doing construction/remodeling during our visit, which made it cumbersome during our visit - but again everyone was nice. There is no pool at this location, but during our entire stay we had water and there weren't any major issues.
Location was close to the city center, but if traveling with older adults may require taking a taxi due to avoid walking on the sidewalks. Personnel were nice and helpful, accommodations were good for the pricing and I would recommend staying here. Overall a great trip to the city center of Oaxaca. It is also walking distance to a vegan/cat adoption cafe place which is awesome!

Should have extra pillows, and have kleenex in the room,and also supply a bottle of water for each person per day.

Breakfast was not varied. Scrambled eggs with bean sauce every day plus, odd to us, pasta as a side on several occasions was not appealing. The last 3 days of our eight-day stay we went to one of the charming local cafes for breakfast. The space was pretty tight for an 8 day stay as we had too little space to store our clothing, shoes etc. and a very small area for hanging coats and other clothing.
Location was good for us as the centre was only a 10 minute walk. The staff were helpful and pleasant. The bathroom was small but quite functional and the beds were comfortable.

Breakfast could have more variety, especially fruit. The price is a little high, perhaps due to the holiday season.
Excellent location, ample parking, helpful and friendly staff, large rooms with comfortable beds and a work desk. Good breakfast.

The room was definitely too small for three people. The beds were bigger than single size but definitely not for two people. There wasn't enough space. Definitely overpriced because of that.

water pressure was poor. It was a bit over-priced compared to other places I have stayed.
around the clock access to hot/cold water and coffee. Location was good for us. Hotel was euro clean! Nice long work area in the room, and good work places in the lobby.

Not very good sound proof in the room. Can hear any sounds from next room.
The staff in the hotel is very nice and helpful. Breakfast is nice, and different everyday. Hotel provide free coffee and water at the lobby

There is nothing we did not like. Everything was nice
We liked everything about this hotel, it was very clean, the staff was very kind, breakfast was good and it was just a few blocks away from zocalo, jalatlaco and other touristic points. The area is nice and quiet. I will recommend it without hesitation.

Everything was good. The room was relatively small but very convenient and worked well.
Excellent location, at a walking distance from the.city"s major historical sites. The parking place is very convenient. The breakfast starts to be served early at 6 am, which is an advantage if you want to start your day early.. Excellent value for the price. The hotel is very well managed..

Breakfast was a bit basic. No bread, only sweet pastries (but that is more Mexico thing).
Good location for exploring, outside of the center (traffic in Oaxaca is crazy) but in walking distance to the Old Town (15 min to the Zocalo). Good size room, very clean. Private parking.

The walls are super thin. You can literally understand all conversations from the neighbour room.
Location. 15 min walk to the city center. 3 minute walk to the nearest market. Safe underground parking. Breakfast included.

I left a shoe in the room and even after it was found and brought down to the reception I was kept waiting somewhile before it was returned to me

The breakfast for such a hotel was quite modest. Very few choices. The rooms aren't soundproof which could be a bother.
The staff have been very helpful from the beginning to the end. The room was clean. They give towels and you can find soap in the shower and near the sink. You have hot/cold water always available in the lobby
