This is a wonderful boutique hotel, perfectly located in San Miguel de Allende. The rooms are beautifully appointed and the lobbies, restaurant and outdoor areas perfectly decorated. A lot of thought has gone into the overall guest experience.

FranceThe room we got was missing natural light. The swimming pool was so cold that we could not use it. Their breakfast was disappointing vs price we paid for the room (only coffee + 1 little plate of fresh fruit + 1 half-slice of bread were included; rest have to be paid extra ++). Mathilda could definitely improve the breakfast quality and quantity that is not at level expected.
Location was great, staff very nice and pleasant.

CanadaBeginning with the "extras" they inform you as you check in. Two free bottles of water and all others 50 pesos extra. Really, after spending $600 US a night you'd think they could throw in the water. Continental breakfast included with drip coffee (not good) but espresso extra. (I had black tea that was light brown and tea bag had been taken out. Did they reuse it?!") The room was large but soul-less/sterile. For a design award hotel it was a big disappointment. Barely any natural light as two small windows were opaque. Bathroom had next to no counter space to place toiletries despite bathroom being large. Lots of room for a little table. The hotel has a nice looking pool with only 5 lounge chairs. What about the other 30 people? I missed an outdoor space to lounge/read in. Only dining tables and chairs on patio. Again, not sure why they won a design award and I certainly don't agree with the Michelin guide.
Our room was spacious and bed comfortable. Linens and towels good quality. Shower big, Malin & Goetz products. Continental breakfast of fresh fruit with yogurt and granola was nice (but small). Green juice was good as was the challah toast (but a grain bread would have been better). Location of the hotel is its best feature.

Puerto RicoThe hotel is well localized , modern with very nice details. The rooms are very comfortable as well as the beds. The staff was very well educated , respectful and very attentive. Our rate included continental breakfast wich consisted of fruits , bread, coffee and juice.. they had a menu also from with you could order but not included. Breakfast is not like a buffet with you could get at other hotels but by my standards was good enough

MexicoJust the lack of clarity of the city tour that was arranged by the hotel. We wanted 1h tour and we ended up walking for 2 and half hours with a kid and we were charged for it. If we knew, we would have interrupted the tour earlier.
Amazing staff, food and rooms. the hotel has great location, walking distance to all good spots in San Miguel. they also support with extra activities and reservations. Very thoughtful and helpful.

MexicoThe room didn't seem to be the one I booked. So beware, pictures don't match the actual rooms, that depends on the location within the hotel. I suggest to change to an individual name for each room because your current number system is not standardized and is kinda deceiving.
