Very cute little hotel about a block from the beach. I had mistakenly booked a room without a kitchen but the manager was great and we moved rooms the next day. Room was clean, with new mattresses and cookware. We had an issue with a broken sink drain, but it was repaired within a few hours. TV had dozens of channels, many in English. WiFi was available most of the time, better out on the balcony. Each room has a little balcony with a table and chairs to sit and enjoy the view (South facing with views of the local mountains that surround Los Ayala). Pool was large and clean, and had sun all day. There were many families staying there with children while we were there (Valentine's Day week) but there were no issues with noise or loud partying. Very pleasant stay and will definitely come back.

The hotel was undergoing construction while we were there (adding two additional floors). However, the noise was really not bad, just some banging and construction materials being brought in. There was a strong sewer smell coming from the bathroom sink but we just plugged it with a plastic bag and used the kitchen sink instead (they often don't use P-traps in Mexico so this is quite normal).

    Location

Extremely loud construction everyday starting at 7am. Hammering so loud all day, it shook my room. Couldn't even stay in the room it was so loud. Seems like this hotel adds a new floor every year, so always under construction.
