How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Could add flexible shower. The fixed overhead shower is a little uncomfortable, but manageable

It can be quite noisy with one of the hotel towers overlooking Periferico. We asked to be moved to the adjacent tower and the staff were friendly, understood our concern and we were relocated to another room. The restaurant/bar was quite desolate outside of breakfast. The manager and concierge were very helpful during the day. In the evening the front desk staff were not very attentive or friendly.
The room was a larger than normal room you would find in a hotel, it includes a kitchenette, full size refrigerator, small dining table, a couch and two flat screen TVs. The breakfast (included) was quite good. Check-in and check-out was easy and hassle-free. The location is very good. No more than a 5-15 minute walk from any restaurant, cafe or retail destination in Polanco.

We have stayed here over the years and this time, the property is looking a bit worn and old. The mattress, pillows and towels were yellowed and a bit smelly.

The fridge in the room was a bit noisy
Great value for money for a hotel in Polanco. Amazing staff and service. This was my second stay at this hotel - the breakfast has improved since 2023 and I would definitely recommend booking your stay with breakfast

An amazing hotel - very clean fresh comfortable rooms located in Polanco. A lot of space in the room, two TVs, a small kitchen. There is also SPA with sauna and gym. The breakfast was included with a good variety of food available. Special thanks to Daniel - he helped with multiple things and showed a great hospitality.

Everything - room was great, with great space (and we were 3!), very clean ! Breakfast was really good - many options ! Location couldn’t be better - close to the best area of Polanco with great restaurants and shops. And the staff was the best of the hotel !

Best accomodation on our two week holiday in Mexico. Perfect central location to Museum, Turibus and other key tourist sites of significance. Nice quite neighbourhood, friendly and inviting.

Sometimes the noise of the refrigerator is a bit loud and the breakfast was a little too simple for the price, mostly regarding bread options and cheese/cold cuts.
Room was big and comfortable, silent and hotel is very well located. The bed is a bit too soft, but nothing that makes it uncomfortable. The kitchenette with a big fridge was a good surprise. The staff was kind and efficient and by far the highest point of the stay.

Location was great for some things but was also a bit of a trek to get to buses and metro. It’s a big city though so no location is going to be perfect!
Lovely room, staff very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast buffet (including vegan options).
