the views from La Casa Que Canta were breathtaking and most of the staff were very friendly

    • Unlike most luxury hotels, the property was not flexible or accommodating. They declined my request to change dates and told me to “refer back to the booking site.” • Adding one extra guest was quoted at $130 per night, despite this not being an all-inclusive hotel. • The property manager was unwelcoming, setting a poor tone from the start. • Food at the on-site restaurant was overpriced and, worse, it made us sick. • The hotel charges $65 for a taxi to the airport, which is not even a private car but a regular city taxi — a 160% markup compared to booking directly. • The massage therapist was unavailable during our stay, which was disappointing given the level of service this hotel claims to offer.

This is the most beautiful hotel. I loved everything about it! It was like being on honeymoon again. We had the whole place to ourselves. One night is not enough. Luckily we live down here so we can return!

Clarins feels like a very retro spa choice!

I love the architecture of this property and the fact that it’s only a few rooms makes it more intimate. The staff is what truly sells this hotel. They are 100/10. So kind, attentive, and very good at their jobs. They go the extra mile explaining things & making sure you are comfortable. Once we went into the pool, two minutes later they came with iced water to help us cool down & hydrate. They replace towels outside the pool area as soon as we take one. The amenities are gorgeous and everything stays spotless. Not once did I see anything unkept. There is a private pathway to the beach which makes it convenient to go out and enjoy the waves.

I have no complaints. It’s great! I would have loved to tip the staff in cash but they only accept tips via card and it’s charged by the hotel at the end of your stay (10%). Wasn’t a big deal but I personally like knowing that they received their money in cash but it makes sense for the crew in the back that we may not always see doing the work.

We loved the stunning architecture of the hotel built on the side of the hill over looking the Pacific Ocean. Our suite was gorgeous with a lovely terrace overlooking the bay with two comfortable lounge chairs and our own private pool. The food and drinks were delicious. Our bed was very comfortable with nice sheets. The staff were friendly and very attentive.

I sort of wished they had a private beach but the pools and views and lounges were so nice and private we ended up not caring about a private beach.

Beautiful location, sea views and salt pool. We loved the fish tacos at lunch and service from the restaurant and at the pool.

Food and wine were not great at diner time and expensive. Welcome and service on arrival by Anny was not up to standards at all. The room is nice but not worth the amount of money, and does not even include breakfast.

Meals at the restaurant were very good. Views from the room were spectacular. Large balconies to lounge in the sun or have meals on your own terrace. Location is perfect. Staff impeccable. Can easily spend the entire vacation at the resort.
