Location. It is very close to most good tourist spots in Centro Historico

We rented a room with private bath and the drain is clogged (the shower floor overflows with water when the shower is on and it takes time to drain, so you feel you are standing on flood)

The location was good. The Belgian receptionist was friendly and helpful.

I had cockroach and worms in my room. If you pay 45 eur per night in a hostel, you want it to be at least clean and decent. I am worried to have bedbugs now… The female receptionist was unpleasent, she had an attitude and obviously doesnt like what she does. I went downstairs with my laptop and she said it is evening time and restaurant will have their guest and I cannot occupy a table on my own because it is for “paid customers”.

Great location! Very central and near to the zocalo, metro. I could safely and easily walk to many places, so it felt very safe. I liked my private room and bathroom except I never could get any hot water during my stay, but the size, design, high ceiling, amount of lighting, balcony were all appreciated. Reception was always responsive and helpful. They provided free drinking water (with a slight taste though). Even though there seemed to be a lot of people in the hostel and a restaurant downstairs, it was pretty quiet in the rooms.

The breakfast was disappointing. I didn’t even use mine every day. Someone ate my labeled food in the kitchen after just a morning in the refrigerator, which felt like a violation. I mean who eats other people’s labeled food in a hostel refrigerator? No activities that I could tell, and I was told of a free dinner one night that I would receive a message about, but I never got an invitation in 4 nights.

Location was in Centro Mexico City, very convenient to subway, shops, restaurants, public transport. Room was very spacious with two double beds. Can get a bit noisy at night Friday's and Saturday's because nearby clubs, restaurants, night venues play loud music till early in the morning, but did not bother me, had ear plugs. Breakfast was OK, a bit of fruit, yoghurt with cereal and a few pancakes or a sandwich, and coffee or tea.

One of the staff members was a little inflexible when I explained, prior to ordering, that I could not eat any meat in a sandwich which was part of the breakfast. When I received a cheese and ham sandwich I explained again and he said he could do nothing about it. I asked for another sandwich without the ham and just the cheese and he said that was not possible.

The location is easy to access two metro lines and the Historical Central. Lots of restaurants and shops around. The room was big, airy, bright and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Shared bathrooms were cleaned often. It felt like home after staying for several days.

More hooks or cloth racks are needed in the room for guests to hang towels and stuff.

I was received very well by ave the university student that work at night he was the only one in the entire staff that actually went out of his way to make you feel very welcome. The rest were OK. They just did their job and one of them a girl that works in the morning she didn’t even step totally out of the place to smoke. She smoked right there at the door and all the smoke because of the wind came back in the hotel..

They add some niceties to differentiate themselves. It is in a handy suburb, close to the principal plaza and many restaurants.

I came here very often but this time I was not so lucky. When I arrived ten moskitos were waiting for me in the bath room from which I killed the last one at 3.00 in the morning - not an easy task with the dark walls and high ceilings. It was a sportive night and I sacrificed mucho blood to the tiny vampires. There was no WiFi in the room, even the WiFi downstairs at the lobby was too slow to do anything but WhatsApp. For the rest it was a good stay. The breakfast is as usually very tiny but tastes good and it is included. Guests are cool and stuff is helpful.
