The staff were really friendly and helpful, let me leave my luggage before check-in and stay inside until 11pm on the check-out day. I stayed in 3 different hostels in Oaxaca and this one was the best because of how nice they were. The kitchen was well-equipped and there was free filtered water. The shared room had a bathroom but there were 2 more outside, so it was even more comfortable. The bed was nice and clean. I enjoyed staying the terrace and at the patio in a hammock.

the beds need to be switched asap. The bunker bed needed a ladder to be able to get on the top one and the mattresses are way too old. The truck parked on the entrance makes it hard to come in with luggage

Only minor thing depending on needs is WiFi was almost non-existent in my room. Had to stand right by the door to get it to work otherwise nada and no cell service in the room. Possible this was just an issue in my room #1 so grain of salt

Really pretty little courtyard to spend time in and room was spacious. Bed was huge and super comfortable which was lovely after some very firm ones in other places.

There is one bathroom including a shower and a toilet which you can lock. Then there are two showers in another room which you cannot lock. But anyhow I always had the impression that everything was safe and there were no lines for the toilet and showers.

I spent several days there. Due to the nice patio with fountain and many options to sit down, it is as if you have a wonderful spacious living room. The rooms you sleep in are ok and efficient. In the morning the staff makes two cans of coffee for free and you always can get drinking water in the kitchen. I did several video calls and the wifi was very stable. It is so close to the Centro and you can reach everything by a 1-9 minutes walk.

Beautiful courtyard and large spacious room with pretty much everything you need in a kitchen. Nice quiet hostel with a cute little terrace too and hot showers.

The rooms and bathrooms could do with better cleaning and supply of toilet roll. Unfortunately it appears there are only 2 showers for the whole place which isn't amazing.

The hosts were kind and helpful, rooms are wide and spacious! They're quite basic but for the central location and affordable price it's good. There is a nice indoor little plant garden with a pond and a few little animals which make it cosy and quiet. It wasn't particularly social but it meant it was nice and quiet during night time and sleeping hours.

Room can get a little loud as it is next to a busy street - we slept perfectly fine but if you are sensitive, consider earplugs.

Nice atmosphere, all rooms around a central courtyard, which makes it cosy. Really well equipped joined kitchen. Quiet enough with little noise from the busy street. Only 2 blocks from the walking streets in the center. Really helpful and friendly staff. And they even have a rooftop that you can use as well.

Wifi didn't work in the kitchen area and not really well in the room.

I loved the garden outside, I was chilling in the amaca every night in complete silence. The staff was really nice and helpful. Really clean.
