I went in low season and I had the whole female dorm for me for two nights. I had a pleasant and smooth stay. In the night (over the weekend) it was very noisy until 2am approx. due to the nightlife nearby.

The property is across from a bar so the music was really loud throughout the night which was a bummer.

I liked the coffee in the morning and the staff is extremely friendly. They gave good advice for where to go.

The fan in the room made too much noise the whole night but without it, we would be lost. The staff weren't friendly at all, although let me leave my luggage before check-in. The breakfast is a joke, especially the diluted jam. I also didn't like the fact that you could only use the kitchen between 11am-10pm.

Although the beds don't have curtains and the room is small, I felt very comfortable on my top bunk bed. It was nice to have a lamp and a place to charge, too. Having 2 bathrooms and 2 showers in the rooms is also an amazing option. The towels were free of charge. Also, there was a really nice terrace.

I honestly met some of the loveliest people while staying here; I found that a lot of locals stayed at this location in particular, which was great for practicing my Spanish. The was was nice, and they served a pretty basic breakfast in the morning. And you're kind of in the historic centre, so everything was really accessible.

Only area to hang out was kitchen or rooftop but not super comfy, not very social but perfect for some solo exploring.

It is nice to have breakfast, but would be better to have something more. The breakfast is just two slices of toasted bread, butter, marmade, and coffee or tea. Still it's nice to chat also with the workers at breakfast time.

The hostel is clean, quiet and people are really nice. There is a peaceful rooftop with tables, chairs and plants and little birds coming around.

It's very central so you get the noise that comes with that. Opposite is a karaoke bar. But in our room it was fine really. The aircon was squeaky! And the bed is very firm. But that's not necessarily a bad thing, just different preferences. The kitchen doesn't have any pantry basics like salt or oil fyi. And be aware that it is for guest use only from 11am until 10pm. They serve a basic breakfast for all guests from the kitchen at 8-10am; a tea or coffee, a slice of toast with a margarine and butter (not or) spread and jam.

The location, the staff, the black out blind on the windows, the aircon. Really central, lovely place to explore the city from. Great info and recommendations from the staff (you CANNOT miss a visit to the chocolate shop el Rito opposite el mercado sanchez pascuas. The chocolate ice cream is THE BEST I've ever had! In the market you can also find an excellent fresh juice shop; Super jugos Angelita). We arrived after midnight and were greeted at the door. A cup of fruit/herbal tea in the morning.

The women's room was very tiny and full of beds , you barley could move. one bed less would make it more comfortable. I had the bed right beside the door, means my head was very close to the door, no privacy at all. The bathroom had no door and was open and the lookers were in there, very senseless on the floor. The bed sheets had hols and seemed very old and the blanked too. The room was hot and we had to ask the stuff to turn the air condition on at night. And across the street is a karaoke bar ...all night till the morning very loud! The breakfast was disgusting... I would not called it breakfast... 1cup of coffee, 2 toasts with a spoon of marmalade ( tasted like a chemical) and a packed margarine :(

The building and the location were nice and most of all the patio. The price was fine. The friendly kitchen stuff in the morning a pleasure.

Not a social hostel if you’re looking to meet people. If you’re looking for more “solo” time this place is great. If they had any social gatherings, they were not talking about it or sharing any info. Also the staff wasn’t really very talkative or social either.

Location is amazing, only a few blocks away from the Zocalo, churches, markets, restaurants, etc.

there's a karaoke bar across the road and they can keep going until 4.30am some nights. it's pretty loud and if your room is facing the road, it'll be pretty loud for you. my room was facing the back, but I could hear the beat and the occasional vibrating of something in the room from the sound. my bed was quite close to another bunk, so it was a bit tight. there were privacy curtains though.

breakfast is prepared by 2 friendly ladies - eggs, toast, coffee/tea. hostel has good prices on day tours. the city itself is quite self contained, so it's easy to get around - it's not smack in the busy areas, which is good. bed was comfortable. adjoining bathroom spacious.

Showers were a little cold and rooms not sound proof. There was loud club music playing until the wee hours that did keep me awake.

The toilet paper dispenser sometimes got stuck, and there’s no door for the bathroom. It’s fine if you’re staying in an all-female or all-male room and people are easy-going. You don’t have a key for the main gate, so if you return to the hostel late, you might need some luck to have someone come by and open the gate for you.

A private bathroom with 2 showers, 2 toilets, and 2 sinks for a 6-bed shared room is wonderful! The breakfast is simple but healthy, with a small plate of fresh fruits, eggs, bread with butter and jam, and a cup of tea or coffee. The rooms and bathrooms are always clean, the beds are comfortable, and there’s plenty of seating on each floor. The location is perfect too—within walking distance to the church, museum, square, and everything else.
