The only downside to our stay was the dampness in the room. It was consistently so humid that it had a musty smell, almost like mildew, and even the bed linens felt damp. I left a clean t-shirt on the chair for a couple of days, and when I picked it up, it was nearly wet just from the room’s humidity. We also had to do laundry after just three days because our swimwear wouldn’t dry at all — hanging them up made no difference, they stayed completely wet the entire time. While we loved everything else about the hotel, coming back to a cold, damp room after a full day at the beach or snorkeling was far from ideal.

Staff was great, breakfast, location, swimming pool and restaurant, everything was great. We are happy with our stay.

Great hotel with a nice pool area and clean rooms, location is close to the centre but still quiet. Breakfast is good and varied. Cocktails at the bar are nice and happy hour is great value. All staff were helpful and friendly.

Location - close enough to 5th avenue but far enough to avoid the noise. Nice pool area. There was ample chairs and loungers available (Mid May). Good pool bar/food, with friendly staff and reasonable prices. Excellent breakfast.

Pool was a little extra chlorinated , the pungent smell kept us from dipping too long. An additional "fee" in cash was charged at check in even though room was prepaid through booking.com. Please remember : breakfast is not included.

It was necessary to have a bracelet in order to have breakfast, which were not given to us in the check in, so we had to ask for them in the reception. We think it should be easier just to say the room number, as it normally is done.

The swimming pool and the bar close to it at night is a must! Very very very beautiful at night. The hotel is also very close to 5th avenue, but it does not make it noisy. The breakfast is great!

We stayed at this property in Playa del Carmen and overall had a decent experience, but there are a few things that could be improved. The pool area is nice and well located, but maintenance could be better — for example, the sun loungers were a bit dirty and quite old. Also, if you're staying on the ground floor, you might hear some noise from people walking by throughout the day and evening. I personally slept very well using earplugs, so it's manageable with a small adjustment. Overall, the place has potential, but a bit more attention to detail would really make a difference.

We were truly impressed with our stay. From the very beginning, the hospitality was warm and professional. They allowed us to do an early pre-check-in, which was incredibly convenient. We were able to park the car safely (in a monitored parking area, which gave us great peace of mind) and even had the chance to change clothes before heading to our room. The hotel itself is beautiful and well-maintained in every detail. The swimming pool is a lovely, relaxing spot, and the bar serves great drinks in a pleasant atmosphere. Every part of the hotel reflects care and genuine hospitality — we felt welcome from the very first moment. We highly recommend this place and can’t wait to come back!

Not a huge hotel (which we liked), with a nice pool and pool bar , spacious room and secure parking. It was our first time in PDC and really enjoyed the location - close to restaurants and beach but without any noise at night

The facility was great. The room was too small for 4 of us. Had there only been 2 of us, it would have been great. The pool is lovely. There were no rooms available that had a separate bedroom so we had to move ti another facility.

The shower was difficult to use. The staff were in general friendly but the reception staff had a strange habit of not speaking to me, despite the booking being in my name and on my credit card. They answered my friend when I spoke. It did make me very uncomfortable, my friend who I was travelling with is 20 yrs younger so perhaps it was that.

Some of the sunbeds could do with a replacing but there were plenty of good ones.

We really liked the relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. Namely, Mario and Anna. We also liked the reasonably priced restaurant/bar, the food was muy bueno! A very relaxed and non crowded hotel. Would stay again.

A bit noisy (at a main street - the rooms with terraces are facing the main st, but not a big problem for me). Airco working well but producing significant noise while operating (had to switch off for the night). Towels sometimes were served not clean (appeared worn off)

Great location (just steps away from 5th Avenue - the main promenade). About 10 mins walk to the nearest beach (20 mins to Coco Beach). Private parking available free of charge. Nice swimming pool and bar downstairs. Reliable travel agent available onsite to book excursions.

This property is incredible, you will not regret staying here. The staff were so accommodating, they decorated my room for my 30th on their own accord. The facilities are clean and rooms are spacious. We got the breakfast included and it was absolutely worth it. Loved this place

The breakfast it was excellent, a lot of variety (fruit, pastry, eggs made in front of you, pancakes, crepes) , the room was very good, the pool was nice due , nice bar on the swimming pool, the staff very nice and a great location ( 5 minutes walking to beach’s or to 5th avenue)

Excellent hotel. Perfect position close to main road full of restaurants and shops. The breakfast was really good with different options every day. Room was large and very clean. Only inconvenience was that the room was very humid probably because it was facing the swimming pool area. Overall we were very satisfied

I was unable to turn off the AC/heat system. I turned up the temp which worked but an on/off would be nice.
