Pros: Hotel: The hotel is beautiful and full of character, with history and architecture that adds to its charm and atmosphere. Room: The room was spacious, stunning, and impeccably clean. Location: Perfect location. Staff: The most memorable part of our stay was the receptionist and the concierge who welcomed us so warmly. It was the perfect stay to our honeymoon, and we truly appreciated the personal touch. Thank you!

The Wi-Fi in the room was very weak.

The location is excellent, as it’s possible to walk to the central square. The hotel and room decor are exceptional. The parking is not at the hotel, but it's very close.

Everything was great!

The three pools were lovely. The staff was amazing! They were very friendly and had great recommendations. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We even had an outdoor area. The room was quiet and walkable to many sights, restaurants ad shops.

The hotel is located next to an entertainment venue which plays music at extremely high volume in the garden adjacent to the hotel and is particularly intrusive at weekends.

The hotel was excellent as a haven from the busy street outside. The hotel location worked for us as it was close to the old city centre and many good eating places.

would have loved more robust food options, but plenty nearby. AC was not super strong, but we were in a heatwave. Not much negative to say

gorgeous buildings, very kind staff, perfect location, pools, nearby parking, unique art, an oasis of peace, large room with patio and very private. They setup a crib for us as well and let us stay a bit late with our baby.

Maybe the only thing I would mention is the loud music from the bar next door, which kept on playing music well after midnight. Not a big bother though if you have ear plugs.

The mediocre breakfast, the indifference of some of the staff, lack of the refrigerator in the rooms, only 3 little bottles of water for two people.

Its charm, its design,spaciousness, location, our little balcony with a tree hanging above it. The beds were comfortable, linens and towels clean.

Stunning building - ceilings are 200 years old. The results of the renovation is impressive. Feels like a Luxurious leap in the past with all the comfort of modern day facilities. Isaac welcomed us in the evening after a long day travelling :) we missed the massage but we will be back next year For sure !!!

The pool was not very clean.

The location, the ambience and the hotel stuff. It's a peaceful oasis in the heart of Merida with nice ambience. During our stay we encounter a health issue and the hotel stuff was very helpful and attentive.

The drain in the sink and shower needed to be snaked as it was not draining properly. The bathroom was also decorated like it was unfinished (it was finished).

The rooms were huge and the bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly. The property is large, too.

I really enjoyed my time at Hacienda Merida VIP. The building has historical charm and there’s no better way to feel the weight of Merida’s history. The room was very big and comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the swimming pool area. They actually had 3 pools, one for each section. One of the highlights is the location, right in the middle of the old town. Everything we wanted to visit was within a 10-minute walking distance. It was a great stay!
