    Wow, what a place !! The food, room and staff were all top draw. Will be going back for sure.

    Staff, employees and employees very friendly and ready to help.

    Food prices exorbitantly and unexpectedly very high. We ask (is the fist time we visit Marriot) before we book the average price and front desk say about $30 to $60 per person. That was not true it all. Unless the tariff war follow us to Mexico Marriot .Also they state that they they say they have 7 restaurants, only 3 served food. We booked this staying since April, for a July 28th visit and call 3 times to make sure we our rooms to be close together or at least on the same floor. The receptionist warrantied and confirmed it (without rooms numbers??) when got there, ops!! sorry we cant do that. I last minute Delta cancelation fly took precedent upon my confirmation from 3 months ago. Extremally disappointed. Is la like having a family mean on two separate tables. Ridiculous and no explanation nor an formal apology nor manager.

    Spectacular ocean views, delicious food, a beautiful and quiet beach right in front, and the kindest staff. I celebrated my birthday here and they surprised me with cakes all day long – such a thoughtful touch!

    My only regret is not having more time to enjoy this paradise.

    You can’t enter the sea and just found out when trying to enter the beach. Very annoying.

    Really beautiful place

    Are A/C stop working Sunday night we Reported on Monday morning and I was told that someone is going to be there in 5 minutes so we left and we got back at 2 and still not A/C I when back to the office and talk to Iran of the front desk he’s like still not working, I said NOT 30 minutes later Maintenance come over and told me that not one told him about it until now, I was very disappointed because I really like this place…

    Great location. our room was well equipped, maintained & clean. Its a beautiful property showcasing the spanish style with great facilities & staff.

    The staff at check in had not taken the details of one of the guests & we were stopped on our way to our villa late one night to ask for that information. It felt very intrusive being stopped on our way to bed, late at night. It should have been handled differently.

    Clean, interesting landscaping and design elements throughout. (Mosaic,Tiles, tree with glass hearts…). Spa was nice and also very unique and relaxing. Great views.

    Never enough chairs at pool. Ever. Staff, kinda helped, but too many old people were saving seats that they never used. Restaurant service was terribly slow. So glad that we did not do the all inclusive package. Food was pretty ok, but usually someone in group had freezing cold food, because.., well, kitchen timing was non-existent.

    The food was amazing. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Located on the beach, we saw whales and dolphins every day.

    People put towels on lounge chairs to selfishly save them for when they were ready to use them, usually all day!

    The location was beautiful. Beautiful beach front, pools, property. Well maintained and amazing views. We saw whales every single day just 300 yards from the property. Amazing! We had access to the spa through our Bonvoy gold status. That was also so nice and relaxing - cold plunge, 2 hot tubs, sauna. Daniel was an incredible attendant. Guadalupe on the beach was also wonderful. A $10 tip goes a long way. Pitahayas was our favorite meal. Tahona had great tacos. We had a 3 bedroom, 3 bath condo with an oceanfront balcony. It was wonderful. Bed was very comfortable.

    They have a "no saved chairs" policy that they very inconsistently enforce. So SOME ppl can save chairs, but then others just have their belongings removed. There were multiple ppl angry with the inconsistency. It's not ok. The dinner at De Cortez was mediocre at best and very expensive. Tomates was just ok. Gluten free food was a challenge. We were extremely careful so my celiac son didn't get too sick. But they aren't knowledgeable at all the restaurants and we got mixed messages depending on who we asked. They could very easily always have a GF taco option if they choose to. Sirensas did not have GF options except fruit and salad. Tahona was mostly safe if we were clear about celiac.

    At the very moment that you walk in, you feel like you’re in paradise. Gorgeous ocean view. Quiet and relaxing ambiance.

    The staff (in general) could definitely be more friendly. At the restaurants in the property, they always took forever to greet, assign a table and take your order. You had to be basically chasing people to get their attention. We order room service twice and twice they got it wrong.

    We had stayed at this property on 2 previous occasions and over the past 6-7 yrs. We really enjoyed it! The property itself is appealing. Numerous venues pools etc. Mexican flavour.

    We take a little responsibility for this. Previously we stayed Mid Dec and Mid Feb. We didn't appreciate that October is a low season with fewer patrons and fewer activities. We hear the Hurricane season. The property is going thru 'significant renovations' Fewer restaurants and an absence of the Mexican themed dinners. These things we enjoyed. This time they were absent! Whilst we were advised a few days before our arrival that there were renovations going on- we din't fully comprehend the impacts. Most of the people we met who had previously stayed at the property shared our disappointment.

    Beach access

    Restaurants on the property are super slow. Along with this, the entire resort shuts down around 7pm so there isn’t much to do beyond that time. My biggest challenge was that the front desk was very disrespectful and unaccommodating. We had to leave 5 days early because my fiancés father passed away. Despite our sudden early check out and extenuating circumstances — the staff refused to reimburse us for this. This made an already devastating situation even more difficult.

    We only had one meal at the property. The evening we arrived we had dinner at the taco bar. We ordered two Pacifico beers, two tacos, a burrito, guacamole and chips and the bill was $100. That's why we only had one meal at the property.

    Way too expensive. A friend o mine went to Los Cabos the next week and stayed in a nice Air BnB near the marina for a nightly rate that was a quarter of this resort.

    Staff was friendly. King size bed was so very comfortable. The room was cleaned daily. Housekeeping is honest, I say this because I left the safe open with lots of cash, and they never touched it. Our daughters rooms in another building were updated, a walk-in shower, large closet, and a court yard view. This place was amazing. Even with all the hiccups. It was a great place to stay.

    Being hijacked for a sales promotion right after checking in to the hotel. Very inconsiderate, not to mention being inconvenienced. We paid 3k± for what was supposed to be a king oceanfront view. We could only see the ocean if we stepped out on the balcony and turned right. Way to overpriced for what we got. During our stay, the hotel ran out of washcloths and stopped providing free bottled water. When we inquired, we were told they had an influx of guest that had arrived ..... ? We were on day five with four left. There wasn't a cozy lounge for two to sit. Some of the lamps didn't work, and the draw curtains for privacy were broken. Don't expect the refrigerator to get icy cold. It never did. Check your bill when eating at the hotel restaurants. Some waiters will pull a fast one to keep your change, so watch out for that. Car rental service at the hotel was a disappointment. We were a family of seven, five adults and two kids, so we needed a van. Even though we scheduled it a couple day in advance, they couldn't produce one. They gave us two cars, which was not at all what we were expecting, and yes, we still paid, there was no courtesy for their mistake. This happened on two separate occasions. If you're planning to use the gym, make sure your room key has been activated. There is nothing worse than being prepared to work out, and you can't access the gym. There were lots of people walking away. So make sure to have them activate your room key card before getting whisked away. If we don't leave feedback, how else can one improve. In general, it's not as bad as it sounds. Enjoy your stay!
