Nothing... I mean the pool area could have been larger. The hot tub wasn't very hot.

OMG! I don't think a hotel has ever exceeded my expectations like this one. The pictures are very accurate and so much to explore within a walkable distance. I loved that it wasn't in the center of everything, but not too far away either. I didn't realize my booking included free breakfast - which was great!! We even got to meet the General Manager, randomly, and he invited a couple of us to a private mezcal tasting with him and his family... 10 out of 10

The parking is not in the property. Consider 20 minutes to get your car, and have extra money in cash for the staff that assists with parking.

Good location, nice rooms, friendly staff, great for groups, and with art in every corner.

View of apartment was towards a wall. Generally the hotel - as many buildings in town - has only two floors, which makes it so that a lot of rooms probably don't have spectacular views.

Perfectly placed - the park is close to the important city areas. It felt walking in the park even late at night. Hotel staff was extremly friendly, nice clean rooms, nice architecture.

The incidental prices, mini bar etc are above average even for this amazing 5 star property. But it is a personal choice.

Breakfast was great. I preferred a la carte to buffet, but buffet is very fast if you need to eat quickly. All staff in restaurant and other areas of hotel were top notch. Good location. Nice big rooms with mini fridge. Very clean and quiet. Comfortable beds and sheets.

Sound-proofing not great. Concierge was great when we arrived (thank you Ana!) but the automated WhatsApp / chatbot we tried when we booked didn’t work and was quite frustrating.

I hated the screaming from the pool, everyone facing the courtyard can hear it. There are children welcome at the hotel, and there was screaming in the evenings. I don't like the business-hotel presentation of the hotel where every little thing has a cost. Give me a free disappointing coffee so that I might be able to get OUTSIDE to buy a better coffee. Why are you charging for Nespresso pods? As usual the fridge is full of extras (all of which costs money). You do get the feeling that the people who generally stay at Grand Fiestas have no concept of money and use whatever they want whenever they want to. The room's cost is expensive but justifiable, the extras ruin it by making me feel cheap. Lastly, I don't like frosted glass / semi-open toilet spaces. Europe does this all the time. Give people actual privacy!

The staff was very friendly and helpful, when asked - never pushy. We never got incorrect information. Our room size was adequate for two people, and we appreciated the dual sinks. We felt very safe there, at all times - the neighborhood is actually great (not in the thick of the tourist zone).

Everything was good. I would have liked some creamer for coffee in my room and the bathroom needed more towel hooks but this is being picky.

It was modern looking with a Oaxaca decor touch. The plants were nice. The pool was fabulous.

Very nice hotel. Upscale with spa, special amenities, and great staff. Premium location in the heart of Oaxaca Centro in a very tourist friendly area. Right across the street from a beautiful park, with culturally rich sites with in walking distance. Staff is amazing and extremely helpful.

The pretty has been freshly renovated- and it feels like it!! Everything just feels so well thought out, relaxing, modern, clean and fresh! The beds are super comfortable. The rooms are spacious. It’s a great hotel for families.

We hadn’t realized that much of the hotel was subterranean. Due to being below street level, there was no view and not much natural light in our room.

The service was excellent-friendly and accommodating. We were able to book car service through the hotel and the drivers were great. There were enough English speakers to make it easy for us. The hotel architecture, decor and furnishings were beautiful.
