Our standard room was comfortable but not as elegant as the rest of the hotel.

The view and breakfast were great! The interior of the hotel is stunning, and the rooms have spacious bathrooms. They even had a nice welcome treat for us waiting in the room. The bellhops are extremely helpful.

    Nothing to complain about.

Beautiful building and lobby and room, we were travelling with little kids so the closed-door common room down the bottom with free snacks and drinks was wonderful, right with a view of the zocalo. The restaurant buffet on the rooftop terrace was also lovely. It's right in the middle of the CBD - a very busy and touristy spot but close to some important historical landmarks.

There was a miscommunication when it came to picking up out clothes for laundry service, so half of it was not done. It was a mild inconvenience. Also, the location is beautiful but a huge pain in the butt to get in and out of if you plan to visit other areas of Mexico City. It was extremely noisy at night. Our room was right above a main street, so I suggest you avoid those rooms if possible. I probably wouldn't stay there again only because it's an extremely busy part of Mexico City. But I'm glad I had the experience.

I loved the building. It was probably the most beautiful hotel I've stayed in. The architect is gorgeous. It truly feels like you've traveled back in time. Their restaurant has a great breakfast spread with an incredible view of El Zocalo.

It can be a little difficult for vehicles to get to the hotel as it’s in a mall.

The hotel is centrally located and has a beautiful interior. The staff were very friendly particularly the door and bell staff. It also has a well stocked guest cafe room.

The streets to get there have a lot of traffic, but honestly it was not a problem with this central location and how beautiful the space was. As soon as you arrive to the hotel makes you forget it.

As soon as you arrive to the hotel you are greeted by the bellman, who are dressed in an antique uniform. Wonderfull staff, accurate information with our rooms and reservations. They inmediately invite you to the lounge that has an Amazing view of the Zocalo. The main focus is the architecture of the hotel, that beautiful vitral is the main character of the space. Loved it all!!!!

    Nothing

The hotel is stunning inside and the terrace must have the best view in Mexico City. The room was very comfortable, shower was great and the extra touches like a lounge to wait in after check out were fantastic. All the staff are lovely and the location is exceptional for everything in the historical centre. I can't wait to stay again!

It could be a little loud during the day with so much vibrance happening in the proximity of the hotel. But it is was live music so it wasn’t an actual problem. Also you have to walk a short distance to the hotel because Zócalo was frequently closed to vehicular traffic, but was not a big deal.

The staff were amazing, I was greeted by Emmanuel at the door who escorted me to the front desk. A glass of champagne poured for me as I checked in. Staff explained the history and layout of the hotel while taking me to my room. I was greeted by name every morning while leaving the hotel to explore the town. The housekeeping staff were wonderful. With Zócalo steps away, you near by stores like Nike but also small vendors.

Our room was facing the plaza. We had a great view. Our room was wonderful great bed and a very nicely appointed bathroom with nice linens. The staff was amazing. Abraham, the door man was so nice. He gave us a great overview of the history of the hotel when we arrived and gave us a ride in the steel elevator. Everyone was right there if we needed anything. The glass ceiling was amazing. The breakfast buffet upstairs was amazing and always with great service. We a dinner there several times and were not disappointed.

The hotel is in the center of town and we learned that citizens love to protest. So our Zocala-facing room got pretty much blasted by noise. Also, the water pressure in the sinks and shower are is terrific, the toilet, sadly, was way under-pressured and it led to lots of issues.

This hotel is one of the most beautiful I've seen. Staff bend over backwards for guests, the property is spotless; the restaurant is wonderful for breakfast (one of the best I've been to) and very good for a dinner.
