I wish we could have stayed longer.

My family and I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The location was perfect, allowing us to easily explore the beautiful colonial charm of the city. The rooms were impeccably clean, spacious, and incredibly comfortable, blending the historic ambiance with modern conveniences like WiFi, air conditioning, hot water, and ultra-cozy beds. One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious breakfast each morning, featuring fresh coffee, orange juice, and a variety of tasty options that started our day off right. However, what truly made our experience unforgettable was the warmth and hospitality of Mr. Carlos and his wife. Their attentiveness and kindness made us feel right at home. The hosts were wonderful. They went above and beyond in providing information, arranging parking, making calls, and getting taxis. They stayed up very late to receive us when our flight was delayed. They made us a delicious breakfast each morning when we got up. They were professional and respectful but also warm and charming. We felt so at home that we returned for another stay at the end of our trip.

Our room was more spacious than expected and had air-conditioning. The hotel had nice plants in all the nooks and crannies. The breakfast prepared by Carlos was a great way to start the day in a soothing spacious dining area. Carlos was very attentive to our needs, willing to help us with anything we needed like restaurant recommendations or when the internet was down and he arranged a reliable taxi to the airport for us. We highly recommend this hotel.

I found the bed on the hard side (I prefer plush), and the one thing I really didn't like is that every time you come or go, they have to open the door for you (which we felt bad about coming home late after going dancing).

Can't beat the location--about a 2-minute walk to the historic district, but in the other direction are lots of restaurants and nightlife. The breakfast was very good, and the owners are super nice.

Exceptional owners make this colonial hotel a wonderful stay. High ceilings, walking distance to restaurants and Centro area, free parking nearby, clean, & safe. Free breakfast was made-to-order and delicious authentic Mexican food.

This 100 year old home is beautiful and perfectly maintained and comfortable. Very tall ceilings, beveled leaded glass, antique crafts in the dining room. The owners, Carlos and Bertha are attentive, respectful and wonderful hosts.

The rooms give to an inner court; they are silent but do not have windows.

The staff was very nice and helpful. A good value for the prince. Very good breakfast. Expect confortable accommodation with the essential but no luxury as the name "boutique" would suggest.

Marta and Carlos are the owners and they are so sweet. They were very attentive to our needs and made sure our stay was comfortable. The location is very central and they even offered parking nearby. There were no issues at all. They offer a homemade breakfast with care and attention to detail.

The only minor complaint was that you needed to knock or make a phone call for the staff to open the front door, but they answered so quickly at anytime time that it wasn’t a big deal at all.

-Hidden charges - far away parking - crossing a dangerous avenue to reach city centre

Pros: -The staff is super nice. They are both very polite and courteous. - the room was clean as expected - the breakfast was great considering that it was included on the fare. Coffee was grounded within the state of San Luis - the place looks picturesque and well maintained. - the owners always kept a polite attitude, they are very nice people. Cons: - so I filtered for hotels with parking. They do not have parking within the facilities, and they charge you extra $100 pesos for this. If you are driving, I’d consider other hotel. - when I booked, the app was jn USD, and it said I should pay around $900 pesos. But when I arrived; exchange rate must had updated because they charged me around 1100 pesos. - with these extra charges, I would had definitely stayed somewhere I else. Just keep in mind they have hidden charges. - although it is quite near to the city center, you have to cross a rather busy avenue. Keep this in mind if you are particularly travelling with children, again I’d book somewhere within the city centre.

The internet usually did not work in the room, so you had to sit in the patio/hallway to get a signal and even then it often went out. The parking lot for the hotel is 350 metres away, so too far to carry luggage. You had to block traffic to load and unload any bags, while stopping your vehicle. I was annoyed as they did not charge my credit card in pesos at the contracted rate. Rather they added a 6.5% exchange cost and charged in dollars. I did not know about this until getting home to see my bill. My credit card has zero percent exchange cost, so this added an extra $40. I did not approve such a thing and it wasn't mentioned to me. From now on I will only reserve a hotel where Booking takes your payment, rather than being done at the hotel.

The good things: This is an excellent location to stay in San Luis--a short walk to the centro historico and in the other direction a short walk to lovely Tequisquiapan park and many restaurants. The owners are very nice and you are served a delicious made to order breakfast. The sheets, pillows and bedding are of very nice quality. I guess I didn't review the photos well enough, as our room was very dark, which surprised me. The shutters which you could open were to the hallway that everyone passed by, so I didn't feel comfortable having them open. I like to have windows with light and fresh air, so this was disappointing.
