Our butler wasn’t helpful at all, he never responded to anything we needed, the beach restaurant staff was rude. Check in staff was rude, and the bartenders were very rude.

United StatesOnly thing that their restaurants book up really fast so even if you try to find a spot for dinner a couple of days ahead, it’s hard to get in.
Besides how beautiful and clean it is, it is pure luxury, classy and they treat you like a queen. The pools are heavenly, the access to the beach, the service was espectacular, from the smallest detail they are 5 stars

United StatesSadly in we didn’t find this out until arriving, you cannot get in the ocean here, even though they have everything set up on the beach like you can. So that was disappointing. The staff was also very hit and miss as to their service. Some were absolutely amazing! Guillermo and Juan Carlos- sensational! However, we had a couple with awful attitudes and absolutely no customer service & then when we brought it to a manger at the end of our stay they said we didn’t report it so they couldn’t do anything about it? Very odd. Unfortunately the way it was all handled tainted the experience a little.
The property was very well kept and clean. You can tell Cleanliness is a big priority to them. Their Japanese/fusion restaurant was amazing! Some of the best I’ve had.

FranceThis place lied through their teeth continuously and still does to this day, scamming us out of more than 2,000 dollars. Here is what happened to us: After being lied to about the size of the room, we were forced to leave with the promise of a refund. As of right now: - We have been waiting for our reimbursements for 1 month and a half; - My first email to follow up on our reimbursements was 1 month ago; - I have now sent 4 emails post-stay insisting on our refunds; and - It has been 19 days since Mr. Emmanuel Urban sent me an email saying that the reimbursements had already been made, though they have not been. Subsequent follow-ups have been ignored. Below is a timeline of events with proof of bad faith on their part. - On Wednesday, August 2nd, I booked a Junior Suite Ocean View (see especially the description in the reservation: " This spacious suite consists of 1 living room, 1 separate bedroom and 1 bathroom with a walk-in shower and free toiletries"); - On Thursday, August 3rd, I wrote the following email to the hotel: " Hello, I booked a junior suite on booking.com, and in my reservation, it says that there is a separate living room (see screenshot below). However, on your website, the junior suites do not feature a separate living room. Could you please clarify?" This email went unanswered, of course. - On Tuesday, August 8th, we arrived at Garza Blanca. I asked again at the front desk, "Is there a separate living room that comes with the room, since it's called a suite." An outright lie in response: "Yes, there is a separate living room." When we arrived in the room, we saw that not only was there no living room, but the "ocean view" in fact was a "view" of a hideous construction site. We called the front desk to see if we could be moved to a room that matched the description given and assured. We were told that we could not unless we paid a higher price, so we decided to leave.
Nothing. We weren't there long enough since they lied about the size of the room.

United States1. Our rooms were not clean. There was a half eaten cookie in our room from the previous guests the whole time we were there. We had ants in our sink every morning. This was our second visit to this resort. Went back thinking it was super nice. But was extremely disappointed. 2. Food was mediocre as compared to our last visit and drinks completely watered down. You would think a resort of this caliber would be better. 3. The recessed light starting leaking like a tap when it rained and got the bed completely wet and the maintenance staff just wiped it down with a towel and caulked it. We were afraid to turn the lights on after. They didn’t call us to check after or even move us from the room.

FranceSo. We arrived late at the property after a long travel day. Everything was going fine when checking in until they opened our rooms doors (2 suites, almost 2000 dollars per night, ocean view) someone was painting the walls of one of the rooms and it the whole room smelled fresh paint. They proposed another rooms. But parking lot view. I had paid for ocean view. When I called front desk to tell them that I would like a ocean room view as I had paid, they said : “ I will ask the maid to purify the air in your freshly painted rooms (basically open the windows for a while) or you can stay in your parking lot view rooms (!!!). It was late, I was travelling with my children and we needed to shower, eat and sleep. Then I asked if they could find a place to eat in one of their restaurants. They said : fully booked, the only solution is room service. Which I did. I asked front desk to have the hotels manager call me, he never did. At this point I just wanted to get out this place. The next day, when checking out, I asked to talk to the manager, Sergio Cobos, explained the whole situation, he patiently listed and didn’t say absolutely anything. Not even excuse us for the poor service. I paid and left. I understand that mistakes are part of human nature, but at every step of the way the hotel could have make us feel better by proposing a drink, a free massage, a place at one of the restaurant, upgrades in our room. I don’t know, anything. They just chose not to. Do not stay at this place.

United StatesUnfortunately, our recent stay at Hotel Garza Blanca Los Cabos left us quite disappointed, and I feel necessary to share our experience for the benefit of other families considering this resort. We traveled there last week with our two young children, ages seven months and three years, excited for a family getaway. However, we quickly realized that this hotel did not meet our expectations. One of the main reasons we chose Garza Blanca was the promise of a kids' area and activities. To our surprise, we discovered that the kids' facility only caters to children who are at least four years old, and parents are NOT allowed inside. This was particularly very disappointing as we wanted our youngest to have a safe space to crawl and explore and for our toddler to also have fun with other kids and not just to sit with us at the pool all day. We weren't alone in our frustrations; we spoke to other families who shared similar feelings about the lack of appropriate facilities for younger children. Also, the resort felt more like a high-rise condominium complex than a welcoming family-friendly resort. The atmosphere was lacking in activities for kids, both in the kids’ area and around the pool, which was a significant letdown. For the amount we paid for our stay, we expected a much more engaging environment for our children. We paid for the additional all-inclusive package, paying an extra $150 per person, but sadly, the room service did not live up to expectations. We often found ourselves having to call for housekeeping, as they would not clean our room unless we did. When we ordered meals, such as three chicken breast dishes, they arrived poorly presented, all on one plate, and unfortunately, the chicken was dry and not tasty at all! Given our experience, I cannot recommend Garza Blanca Los Cabos for families with young children. We left feeling that our money could have been better spent elsewhere, and we certainly won’t be returning.
