Breakfast was very limited, it was eggs, omelet, pancakes, or chilaquiles. Those are the only options when you get breakfast as part of your stay. Service can also be slow at breakfast too. Things were expensive on the island in general, and the food at Hotel B was no exception. With that in mind an all-inclusive option would be nice for the traveler on a budget. We did notice a few things like the shower curtain was to small.

We liked the views and the swimming; the snorkeling was the best that we saw in the island. Pro tip get you own snorkel gear so you can snorkel to your hearts content, they have gear there but its 5$ USD vs going to Mega X and getting a set for $7 USD. The snorkeling over by the raft is breath taking. The pools were nice to relax in, our last night we laid in the pool while the saxophone player was jamming away. The food that we had was good. The staff where nice and knowledgeable, they were willing to help. They really helped our stay be the best it can be. Marco in particular was very helpful and friendly. He went the extra mile to help us with getting a moped, which I feel is the best way to travel in the island. Seriously if someone can ride a bike, motorcycle or an e-bike you can ride a moped. Juan the waiter for breakfast was exceptional.

Staff at the pool not productive at all, you had to call them to take orders, any attention at all. I even had to go to the bar and order. This was at the familiar pool from the hotel. Lunch service was very slow. Just one observation for breakfast quality food…no taste at all I ate because I was very hungry.

There is no design area for smoking , just ashtray outside the hotel on the parking lot, and that's the only place you can smoke. We just got unlucky there was renovation for the floor, and it was noisy everywhere. That ruins our experience .

The service was a little slow and if you want to have a friend join you for the afternoon there is a fee even if you are staying in a double room.

Had a wonderful 80 min relaxation massage by Vicky, at the hotel. So great to be able to get into the ocean easily. Second time we’ve stayed this year. Very friendly and efficient staff. Comfortable beds. Felt like coming home.

The deposit policy was confusing. I hadn’t seen any mention of the guarantee hold when booking, and as a traveler from Europe, having the deposit held in USD was inconvenient. I exchanged $100 as a second currency in my bank account specifically to cover it, and although reception told me the full amount would be released upon check-out, I only received $99.99 back. While it’s just one cent, it felt unnecessary and could have been communicated more clearly — especially since it was a pre-authorization. The receptionist told me: ‘It's only a cent, it's for the transaction.’ I think it's very wrong that if it's a pre-authorisation you have to pay even 1 cent. Things should be clearer. As for breakfast, it was decent, but quite limited. You’re only allowed one juice or coffee, and if you want an extra drink, the surcharge is high. If you're staying multiple days, the options can become a bit repetitive. The Internet connection was not always working.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, and our room was very comfortable, with stunning views of the sea and the pool. The overall design — from the hammocks and swimming pools to the terrace and restaurants — is modern, well-maintained, and very relaxing. One of the highlights for me was the mini reef directly accessible from the hotel. I didn’t miss the beach at all, as I could see vibrant marine life like colorful fish and manta rays right from the reef.

As I said in the positives- we were impressed with the response to our feedback- given in response to their request for feedback during our stay. However on our second to last night the room had a major leak during a storm overnight. We were woken up at 4 am by the alarm on my phone telling me it was wet. There was a lot of rain coming in from several places in the ceiling. The front desk guy brought up towels to put on the floor to soak up the flooding water (even with the towels, there were still inches of water on parts of the floor), but there was no other room available until the next day. Fortunately the leaks were not over the beds. It was a major disruption to our sleep and cut into our last day in Cozumel as we had more than a normal amount of stuff to move to the new room- with wetsuits and snorkelling/diving gear. And we worried that water had gotten into our electronics. (They seem fine so far) We were so well treated when we gave feedback earlier in our stay, that I was surprised they didn’t offer any compensation for the disrupted night, which was much more of an inconvenience than things like a broken sliding glass door handle. So - maybe ask for a room that is not on the top floor.

Staff are really great. The food was good. In addition to fruit and yogurt, the breakfast had Mexican food- beans, tortilla chips, salsa and salad ingredients. That meant good options for us as a vegetarian and a vegan. And you can request stronger coffee! The restaurant menu also had some good vegan options. The location was great for daily snorkelling. And if you like to walk, which we do, you could get into town in about 40 minutes. Half way through our stay we got a request for feedback on our stay. I gave some feedback on several issues, including a broken handle/lock on our sliding glass door to the balcony, and non-functioning water purification machines. They responded so quickly I was shocked. They gave us some fruit, fixed the door handle and later offered us 25 minute massages. And always filled our water bottles for us with ice and purified water from the bar. They obviously cared about their guests’ experience. We were very impressed.

The reception staff were not particularly engaged and my room card didn't work on multiple occasions.

The pool and jacuzzi looking out over the ocean is just delightful! Some great snorkelling right from the hotel- I even saw a turtle! The poolside staff were great and had wonderful service!
