    - Breakfast quality was great, and all the staff were exceptionally kind and helpful – special thanks to Cynthia! - The Hotel ist located in the middle of the center of Mexico City, you’re able to explore the city easily

Our room had only one window, which functioned as the door to access the room from the common areas; if we wanted to have some natural light, people walking outside could peek into our room. The bathroom is basically part of the room (only separated by a frosted glass partition which didn't go all the way to the ceiling), so keep that in mind if you're looking for privacy.

Excellent location, generous breakfast, comfortable huge bed, polite and helpful staff.

It was overall a bit too dark, around the facilities and rooms lacking character and personal touches breakfast was a letdown too pricey for what you get

Weird extra charges for certain parts of breakfast- it should either be included or not. No water in the room, which has been mentioned in other reviews and they still haven’t addressed, they said the reason for no free water was the no plastic bottle policy. This is commendable on some level, but every hotel I stayed in in Mexico offered water in the rooms in glass refillable bottles. Just felt like a way to make you pay for water from the minibar- and there was just a tiny bottle. Not good enough for the cost of this hotel at all. Finally, my room had a bad smell…the window was opened when I checked in presumably to try and remedy this, but it was very noticeable through the night.

The location, the roof top bar, the historic building

The only thing we didn't like was the restaurant downstairs playing tecno music during the day, which was audible if our windows were open.

A delightful boutique hotel in the bustling historic centre of Mexico City. The staff were helpful and obliging. Any problem was attended to promptly and the rooms were quite unique in their design, if a little dark.

Can be quite dark, it takes some getting used to it Also, really didn’t appreciate the fact that for that price there’s no water available in the room. Had to go to front desk to complain to be told that we could have some water from the mini bar free of charge. Compared to other hotels in the area we stayed at, I think this is very off putting. I ended up going to 7/11 to buy water as we were so thirsty.

Super central spot in an amazing historical building. Great rooftop bar

The hotel staff followed us to our room. It was very unpleasant having eyes on you as if you didn’t belong there or as if you were up to no good. I understand the guards are there to make sure certain people aren’t making themselves in the facility without permission but the staff need a better way of checking people going in because following behind us made us feel very uncomfortable and unwanted. Try better please. Should have someone checking keys near the elevator before people enter this way they aren’t guessing and making guests feel uncomfortable.

The ambiance was perfect and I loved the decoration of the facility and the rooms.

Charging for extras such as Western breakfast or cappucino opposed to a black coffee. Thought the ground floor was a bit odd with other restaurants / shops. Not to take away from the beautiful hotel. We probably booked the wrong location - apart from landmarks, we really didn't like Centro and should have booked to stay in Roma, the hipster area. Better bars, felt safer and more our vibe.

The lighting in the rooms was very low and difficult. We would’ve liked a kettle so we could make tea and coffee in the mornings.

A lovely quirky hotel in a former Spanish mansion built in the 17th century. Had lots of atmosphere and the rooms were large and the staff were excellent. The location is brilliant as you are just near the historic centre so easy to get to the Aztec, Temple and Cathedral and some brilliant, Restaurants, chops and chops
