The room was a good size and had a lovely roof terrace. It’s very close to the centre and the staff were very helpful - we also had a lovely breakfast on the roof

the staff is awesome very kind, understanding and disponible. After traveling all night and arriving way too early before check-in they moved things around to give us a bed. The bedroom was cleaned daily bed was comfortable and shower pressure was perfect. The location is ideal. walking distance to everything in centro oaxaca. I will come back.

Very noisy from the street and also kitchen noise. Also we would have appreciated more comfortable areas to hang out as a family - there were no chair areas in the rooms or lounge areas in the hotel - the roof area was not comfortable for lounging/relaxing and we had been really excited about hanging out on the rooftop. We felt like we were taking space from the restaurant. Breakfast was slow with one cook/waiter.

My only constructive criticism is that the windows don't have screens so it's not nice to have them open for long. We ended up sleeping with the a/c on as a result which isn't the best since it uses more energy but also the a/c units were a little loud.

This spot was charming! Andrés, Alejandro, César and the rest of the crew made our stay enjoyable and comfortable. It was really nice to have a home base really close to El Centro where we could rest, get out of the rain, get breakfast, and get local information. I didn't catch the names of the cleaning staff but they kept things really tidy and nice. There was filtered water on tap which was great. Bathrooms are small but that wasn't an issue for us. Absolutely would come again

I sometimes had some difficulty unlocking the front door during late hours.

I really enjoyed my stay at Comala! The location is really central and perfect for exploring the city and near great restaurants. The staff are really friendly and welcoming and I had a very smooth and welcoming check-in experience with Andres when I was very exhausted after a long journey to Oaxaca. Andres also gave us some really good recommendations for local restaurants. I really enjoyed the delicious breakfast on the roof terrace every morning!

A small, secure casa just 5mins walk from the main historic centre, so nice and quiet. The properly feels secure and has cctv there and the staff are super friendly and the bed was very comfortable and there’s a small glass tank of water in each room refreshed daily.

Absolutely nothing!

By far this was one of the most enjoyable places I’ve ever stayed. The manager/owner and staff were super and the breakfast and lunch they serve is not only excellent value but really tasty, everytime

It's called a 'Bed and Breakfast', but breakfast is an additional charge. I knew that when we reserved our stay, but the name is misleading.

Having a large potable water dispenser in our room was great. There was a cold water dispenser in the hall as well. We liked the very large closet area. We couldn't get a double bed, but the twin beds were comfortable. We enjoyed our tasty breakfasts on the terrace each morning. The staff was awesome!

I could not get the water temperature in the shower to get warm. Also the small bars of soap did not lather and seemed to aggravate my skin.

Well taken care of. Large convenient rooms. Although right on the street… the large doors kept it quite insulated from outside traffic. The staff were very kind and helpful. The price was agreeable too

Such lovely and welcoming staff, it was such a joy to be hosted by such smiley lovely people. The B&B is an excellent location for so much of the city. The rooms are simple but perfectly adequate and clean. The breakfast was delicious.

Comala is centrally located in the pleasantly walkable Oaxaca Centro district. Breakfast was always delicious and nutritious, very nicely presented. The same applied to other meals. Andreas and staff were welcoming, knowledgeable and aimed to please the guests.

The accommodation was perfect for me in every way. I was traveling alone and the great location, price, beautiful terrace, kind people running the hotel all made it wonderful. Very friendly & helpful staff. The Comala was very well situated , quite a few places to eat & drink in the same street. The room was a big on the small side but that didn’t matter. The aircon was good. The roof terrace was lovely & nice to have breakfast up there. The cleaners seemed to clean mid afternoon ( rather than in the morning) so sometimes we got back during the cleaning process, or we in the room at the time they wanted to clean it.

Some early morning street noise in one room, but not enough of a problem to affect our stay. Generally we liked everything about this property.

Great location. Very friendly and extremely helpful staff. Rooms are clean, attractive and ours was a reasonable size with a balcony. Delicious breakfast on roof terrace with view.
