What have been nicet o have a pool, but I knew that when booking, so that's no on them. The front desk has some issue we asking for directions, but nevertheless bery nice.

It's a nice location, just of 5th Ave. and a short walk to the beach. It's a nice little hotel that I think is better suited for couples or lone travelers. For those that want to be close the the action and nightlife, this is perfect.

Breakfast is very minimal. Beaches in Playa del Carmen are not so good but hotel can’t change it(sargassum).

No parking lot and they don’t have coins to help the clients. It was very difficult to get coins for the meters. Could help a lot if the hotel has them to exchange. Also we got an issue with a leak in the bathroom

I liked the location, only 50 metres to 5th Ave and all the restaurants. The beach was also a short walk from the hotel. The staff were really nice and helpful, everything was clean and very quiet.

The night staff informed us that breakfast was included and told us it started at 8am but the next day the morning staff told us it wasn't included and that the cafeteria (at which we would've had a discount was actually closed on Sundays). Of we had known that we wouldn't have waited until 8am to depart for the day

Best value for money. Central location among restaurants and bars. Full hours hotel with daily room service. Helpful staff. Nice room with good A/C. Dim and bright lights are available in room.

Something wrong with electricity During the night TV switched on several times by it own, while I plugged it out. Also some alarm sounds between 3 and 4 am.

It was a nice staying in a renovated place! The room was a little bit humid but the air conditioning was working perfectly The position is perfect, quiet and close to the Main Street The receptionists are really nice

There is no lift and I had to carry my heavy suitcases which was tough. Be aware that parking is street parking and paid from 10 AM to 10 PM. You can pay only for 6 hours in one go and have to extend every 6 hours. So we couldn't leave the car there and go for longer.

The location is amazing. Interior of hotel looks very good. It was very clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly as well.

This hotel is ideally located right of the main avenue. There are shops, restaurants and transport to almost anywhere. The bedroom s nicely designed also and the wi-fi is great.

It looks like a rebranding hotel. Most of the furniture is new but some of it like the sink is cracked and old not in a good way.

Nice and helpful personnel. Looks like newly designed rooms. Good location for most tourist spots.

The bedding and toiletries supplied were super cheap and low quality which is fine if they want to stay in the 3 star hotel category but if they want to be 4 star then those should be improved. I also didn’t like that there were never enough dishes available to replace the ones I used so I had to keep reusing them without cleaning. Usually people don’t stay as long as I did though so I get it but if they want to attract more long-term guests, they should consider making the rooms and services more conducive to long-term needs.

The location was great, the staff were always very friendly and helpful and the room was clean. The wifi was amazing when they switched it over to the new provider.

The room had everything you might ask for - comfortable bed, balcony, large bathroom and lots of storage spaces. The staff was very helpful with keeping our luggage before and after check-in.

The only downside (and this is no reflection on the hotel) is that there is some construction occurring on the street the hotel is on and that occurred nearly everyday. But again, this is not anything the hotel could control.

The Coco Rio Hotel is an adorable hotel located just off 5th avenue which is the Main Street (if you will) with shops, restaurants and all types of activities. We loved the room, the balcony and the private courtyard. All the staff were friendly and welcoming.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean with daily cleaning. The shower had plenty of hot water. The location was good but access to the beach could have been better. It was a bit of a walk as the street the hotel is on does not have access to the beach. This is the only reason the hotel did not meet my expectations.
