I wouldn’t say there was anything I didn’t like. Would prefer less stairs but it wasn’t an issue.

The location was exactly where we wanted to be beach wise. We wanted seclusion and quiet but also close walking distance to the action and nightlife. Bonus points for the wildlife we saw while taking walks.

I liked my room, it was very spacious, although the view was on the side, looking into another building and plants between. Free filtered water and basic breakfast options in the price was highly appreciated. The biggest plus is the location (very close to everything but in a quiet and beautiful street).

We loved the rooftop pool and lounge area, perfect balance of shade and sun options. The room itself was very clean and comfortable and we even got a free upgrade to a room with a lovely balcony. The road was quiet and had security, the area felt safe at night. The host was very friendly and accommodating, included clear instructions to access the property, recommended local restaurants, and was available by text at all times. We can’t recommend this location enough!

Our stay at this small hotel in Playa del Carmen was fantastic! The location couldn't be better: right in the vibrant center with easy access to restaurants, bars, shops, and a short walk to the beach. Despite being central, the hotel was surprisingly quiet – a real bonus! The rooms were comfortable and very clean, and we especially enjoyed the little balcony. A standout was the owner's hospitality. He was incredibly helpful and accommodating. When we needed to keep our rental car for two extra days, he generously allowed us to park it at the hotel for free. This was truly exceptional and made our stay even better.

In a secluded private area of Playa, which is very quiet compared to the rest. You could see lots of greenery from the balcony and also hear the waves of the ocean. One day there were monkeys in the trees in front of the entrance. Mike was an amazing host.

I really enjoyed my stay at Che Suites! The room was very nice, clean, and tidy, with a welcoming touch of music playing when I arrived 🎶. The location was perfect for me—just a short walk to the area with all the restaurants and bars 🍽️🍹, yet far enough to be quiet at night. It’s also very close to the ADO Turística bus station 🚍 and the pier for ferries to Cozumel ⛴️. The rooftop pool is small, so you can’t really swim, but it’s open 24/7 and could be refreshing if needed 🌊. I didn’t end up using it very late, but it’s a nice feature. The service was excellent! Clara was very welcoming and provided helpful information before I arrived, and Miguel at reception was super helpful with everything I needed 🙌. Breakfast was very basic, but I didn’t mind—it’s nice to have the option available. Overall, a great stay, and I would definitely book here again! 😊🏡

Welcoming staff, clean, nice facilities and spacious rooms! The location is spot on! Next to the beach, next to the centre but away from the noise. It was so nice waking up with the sound of the birds. Miguel was great explaining all facilities and great recommendations! We decided to have breakfast in the hotel which was nice and fresh and great value. Magda welcomed us in the morning with the lively breakfast and she was so warm and professional. Thank you for the great stay!

Door had a crack so we could hear neignbors on working hours. Place was calm at bight so it was ok overall.

Clara’s warm welcome made all the difference. We rented 5 hotels for our trip to this region and Clara was by far the most welcoming. Beach is near and you are at walking distance from 5th avenue, where all the nightlife is.

Booking stated breakfast is available but it wasn't, so would recommend to check if it is available if you want it. Luckily there are lots of options around though! Our bathroom didn't have much space to put our toothbrush etc so this could be improved. With the cleaning a little more focus could be put into the smaller details (edges etc). And when you're a light sleeper it's good to bring earplugs as there might be some loud vehicles (scooters) driving by at night.

Comfortable bed and lots of pillows to choose from. Security at the start of the street made it feel like a safe area. Perfect location near 5th Ave and the beach (we went to watch the sunrise a few times which was awesome)! Miguel & Clara made this feel like a home away from home, they gave great recommendations, were available for any questions and spoke English perfectly which made it super easy to communicate.

The pool had something maintenance work done on the day we were here so I can’t say anything about that

Everything :) the staff was super nice, especially Clara made us feel welcome immediately. It’s close the the most important things in the city in our opinion which is the beach and Quinta Avenida which is where a lot of shops and restaurants are located.
