It was a dream to stay in this hotel! The hotel and staff exceeded our expectations. The design of the hotel is exceptional well done! Everything was perfect, The room, the breakfast, the pool and the personalized service! I would not stay anywhere else in Merida if I would go back!

The area is close to the centre of Mérida but not amazing, and the garden was full of mosquitos - bring repellent!

The place is very charming, the bed was super comfortable and the breakfast was small but had everything we needed (and it was very nice). The hosts were extremely helpful! Really hope to go back one day

Our room was in the original part of the building, the front door of the room is not sealed properly so we had some ants from outdoors walking within the room. The hotel is also about 15-25min walk away from everything, this distance seemed a bit far on hot summer days, probably wouldn't bothered us if we would have visited then the weather is cooler.

The hotel is very nice. The room had a good a/c. The outdoor area is also nice to refresh in a pool in the afternoon. They also serve a nice small breakfast, but it also includes cooked eggs.

It does take a while to get places on foot, but if you like walking, it's not too bad.

Too amny openings in the room: the night lights in the corridor etc and the natural light from raising sun bothered us so we didn’t have a good night sleep A little far from restaurants and life of the center ( although we felt safe walking, event at night)

Honestly thought it was perfect.

What a stunning boutique hotel! Everything is done tastefully and is gorgeous - from the entrance through the garden to the rooms. Great location to walk to the center just a few blocks away from the action. Everyone was extremely helpful and lovely throughout; we literally didn’t want to leave and will be coming back for sure.

The care & service that the hotel give you is exceptional. It felt like we were staying in a good friend’s villa - the decor was beautiful and the ambience excellent. We loved the bohemian & ballearric architecture and the spaciousness of both our room and the whole hotel. We were so well looked after - nothing being too much for the staff (recommendations; wind by the pool , an early breakfast ; ordering taxis).

They do everything great.

The breakfast buffet was the best we have had during this visit to the Yucatan. The combination of fresh fruit and juice, along with the best muesli I have had in a long time. All of the staff were very helpful, particularly Alejandro. He helped us arrange a reasonable driver to visit Uxmal. The neighborhood that the Carsona is located is very interesting and has a number of very good restaurants and bars.

The area seems a little iffy but once you are inside the secure doors it’s a different world. (As is the case in many areas of Mexico). There are a few places to eat around the area but they are open at limited times and are somewhat hard to locate. They are hidden behind doors that would you would not think have restaurants behind them. I would suggest getting a cheap uber and heading over to St. Lucia.

We loved staying here while we were in Merida!! The pool areas were so beautiful and relaxing and there is plenty of room and shade. We stayed in two different rooms due to booking at the last minute. The first room was older and a bit smaller but still very comfortable. The second room was in the newer part of the complex and was quite a bit bigger, more beautiful and more modern. Both rooms had very comfortable beds, showers with plenty of hot water, wonderful towels and were very clean. The staff were so accommodating and helpful and some spoke English. Breakfast was great with eggs cooked the way you like them, toast, granola, yogurt, some fruits, coffee and juice. It’s easy to chat with other guests in the small breakfast area and that’s always fun.

Just a lovely little spot hidden away. Grounds were gorgeous even better in person. The reception (Alejandro and Kitchen staff went above and beyond!) So kind, and super informative. Always there to help you. Rooms were perfect, beds very comfortable and linens were great! It had a very old world charm, which we love and if we ever visit beautiful historic Merida again, we would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend.

The place is beautiful, clean and greatly decorated. The pool and gardens were very relaxing and quiet. But the best was the friendly staff. Alejandro was very hospitable and professional, he would check up on us to make sure everything was ready upon our arrival, he gave us great recommendations as well. We will definitely return to this hotel.

Walking through the outside doors into the beautiful setting. Alejandro was very good at guiding us and making sure we had everything we needed. You should do all you can to keep him. Great asset. Breakfast was perfect every morning. I am an early riser…and having a cup of coffee ready at 6AM was great. Keep that little extra. I also want to add that the place is filled with little touches that show that someone really cares about the impressions we take away. Keep your designer too.

It is a complete sanctuary. Beautiful garden, comfortable rooms, great breakfast and wonderful staff. Lots of space to hang out and 2 refreshing pools. At check in we got a list of really good restaurants, bars and special places to see. The hotels laundry service was super convenient. We liked the location - close to park Plancha and a good walk to centro and Paseo de Montejo We will be back 👌🏽
