Small item but there is no heat so when we were there during an unusual cooler period it got a little chilly at night.

Initially we felt a little bit away from restaurants and such. We soon realized that they were just a 10 - 15 minute walk away down the Malecon (and the Malecon was just across the street from the hotel).

The hotel facility was a designer's dream Everything was so artistically and immaculately displayed. The beds were fabulous. The breakfasts were also very good - every day something a bit different and prepared individually for guests at their preferred time. All the staff were friendly and most accommodating The choice of very good restaurants in the Centro core was excellent

We were given pool towels but then had to keep asking for them as the cleaner would take them (we were happy to reuse). There also isn't a hot food menu other than breakfast which was a shame but they did heat up some food for us when we got something from a restaurant. Location is a little confusing, but once you know it's fine.

The pool had a beautiful view, I liked the white and wood look too. The room had a mini fridge and a massive TV. Shower was great and was also huge. Air-conditioning worked very well and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Location was great for us as it was closer to the old town but if you want the other side (where the surfing/kayaking and fishing is) it's quite far to walk. So you'll have to get an uber/cab. Very pleased this was an adults only hotel (for anyone wondering, your kids would hate the pool anyway as it's on the smaller side). There's a cute fire pit you can hire and they also offer spa services which are cash only. Staff were really friendly and helpful. You can also WhatsApp them which was great.

the hotel is small and simple all you need in a well located area. Malechon is 100 meters away. The view from the rooms, pool and lounging area is awesome

This is a beautiful boutique hotel with fantastic views of the ocean. The host met us at the door and we had wonderful conversations. The property has a fascinating history. The location is great and you can walk to Centro along the wonderful Malecon (promenade).

It was a bit noisy on weekends being so close to Malacon but that is to be expected

We loved the location of Casa Lulu as it was near to great restaurants, the plaza machado and mere steps from the Malecon. The staff was so accommodating and led by Ramiro, the manager who was a great source of information and there for our every need. The complimentary breakfast was great, served poolside, very handy not having to go out to find a restaurant first thing in the morning.

No proper chair or sofa in room or breakfast area. White minimalist string chairs are very uncomfortable especially if one has back medical issues.

It’s quiet and beautiful! The rooms were spacious with a minimalist design. The AC is powerful too. The pool is intimate and the hotel has great views of the water. The staff was very friendly! Flor and the gentleman (I forget his name) answered our questions, offered to set up taxi service and provided recommendations for dinner. 10 out 10 would recommend for couples or for a chill friend trip (4 or less).

I think the code option to enter the hotel is not great. I couldn't get into the hotel the last night because I didn't have battery on my phone (obviously I didn´t remember the coed either) and there wasn't anyone there to help.

The staff used the facilities, so we were unable to eat indoors at the table or sit on the sofa because the staff was there. The breakfast was underwhelming and they attempted to charge us despite it being part of the room rate. The room was extremely loud till 1AM due to the parties / cars on the Malecón

It wasn’t clean, the property didn’t have ac so you couldn’t be outside at all other than room and pool, property isn’t accessible, there’s no elevator so even just to go up to our room and leave luggage there was super uncomfortable and dangerous as the stairs looked in terrible condition, the bathroom at our room was pretty old and outdated, stains everywhere, smelly property all over. Not worth the price at all.

I am a disabled man that uses a mobility device and this hotel required me going uphill to get to which was awkward for me. The manager was kind enough to let me get out of the booking though for that reason.

Room was comfortable with a decent view.

Only issue was that during all of our stay, we weren’t able to shower with any hot water. At first, we were told that it was because the water heated with a solar system. So I decided to still shower at night with cold water. My friend decided to wait and showered in the morning but still didn’t get hot water. Water was only lukewarm but not hot enough. Staff told us that they would call a plumber, we got back, were told that the plumber had come, and that everything was fine. Unfortunately, we still didn’t have hot water but did not mention anything again as it was our last night.

Loved the properties decor. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.
