The bed was a bit too high, it was kind of difficult for me to get on it, but it was comfortable.

Fantastic location just a block away from the Santo Domingo Church and the Museo de las Culturas. Across the street is the pricey but very good Tierra del Sol restaurant and a block further was Pan:am Abosolo where we had very good breakfast. The hotel was very quaint, decorated with church items. They did not serve breakfast at the hotel but there is coffee on the terrace and a microwave. On our first morning, we had an early start for a tour, so we got bread and pastries at Tierra del Sol and had them with coffee at the terrace. Alejandro and his team were very accommodating.

The only drawback for this visit and it wasn’t a bad thing is that they are remodeling some of the guest suites so there was construction noise and dust during the day while we were staying there. The good news is that on our next visit, we will have more nice rooms to choose from.

The property was in an excellent location with easy walking access to restaurants, shopping and churches. The decor of the property was religious which was very comforting. The rooms were all unique and we loved the roof terrace with the coffee and tea bar and comfortable patio tables. Our king suite also had its own terrace with a patio tables and umbrella. The bathroom was also very nice in our room. The staff were all super friendly and helpful and there were front desk staff available all day.

The morning coffee was not ready at the posted time

The decor of the hotel was very nice. Religious artifacts helped to create an ambiance worthy of "friales." The manager Alejandro (?) was outstanding. He was very friendly, spoke good English and was very helpful and accommodating. The rooftop patio was delight

This hotel is so cute and the location is fantastic. Close to the main attractions, I couldn't recommend a better location. Staff was lovely and helpful. Very clean. Rooms are not huge, but very efficient.

Nothing to complain about

Very beautiful historical building in the center of Oaxaca. There’s no restaurant in the hotel, but we didn’t missed it because everywhere around you can find bars and restaurants. The hotel has a rooftop terrace with a view over the city. This was great for New Year’s Eve. Rooms are beautiful decorated and very clean. At night it’s quiet even in the city center. The bed was huge and comfortable.

It would have been nice to have a couple of glasses or cups in the room. The bathroom was also a bit of a tight squeeze. But overall the hotel had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay in Oaxaca.

The hotel is in an excellent location. It’s close walking distance to everything - Santo Domingo church, markets, cafes and restaurants, zocalo, museums and gardens. We especially loved the staff. They went out of their way to help us book a cooking class last minute, after the one we had booked cancelled on us.
