I say this because I love this hostel and I want them to be the best they can be for guests to feel really great there. Music all the time, the bass makes sound throughout the building wherever it is loud you can hear it from the other side and in the room. This is unrelaxing if you are tired or if you just want to chill at home. I recommend quiet and relaxing music maybe 10:00-16:00. I recommend having a communal kitchen, this is where in hostels and guesthouses around the world that people come to together, say hello, meet new people, have free coffee and tea. This gives any place a soul. Arrange meal evenings and charge a little for each meal. Guests will appreciate this x100. Overall a super stay, thank you!!

The pool was clean. Bathrooms clean. Showers great pressure, hot if you need it. Bed comfy. Very lovely interior design, I love the pink. Staff very nice and helpful (Andy in particular). Overall a very pleasant place to hang out. Location is good for a walk to restaurants of all kinds.

The power went out a few times but I think it's because of the bad summer storms. I was resolved within the hour!

The food at the cafe is good. The hostel is very clean. It's located a little outside Centro but the neighborhood is much quieter. The staff are very kind and helpful!

Just a little far from the centre, it’s a good 15-20mins walk, but not too bad, you can always get an uber.

Loved the property, very new and clean! Really good food and loved hanging around by the pool and bar. Staff were lovely and really helped out with travel recommendations and any other questions I had.

This is the best hotel/hostel I have ever stayed at. It felt like a tiny resort somewhere in the dessert. It is located 20 min walk from the center. It’s also quiet so you can work by the pool and head out to town in the evening when the temperature goes down

As it is half hostel (because of dorms) & half hotel, I would have wished to have a community kitchen. Although the staff is helpful if you have something to be put in the fridge. Also, if you are seeking a hostel with a community vibe, this might not be the right place, it was rather quiet while I was there (which I personally liked).

The accommodation is beautifully designed and has a small pool, a bar/cafeteria area, a rooftop for yoga and relaxation with two extra mini pools, and activities throughout the week. The showers, toilets, sinks were clean all the time - the showers are even semi-open with a kind of jungle feeling :) The staff was super friendly and helped with everything I needed. Especially Joanna was my star - she puts all her heart into that place and makes every guest feel at home! Big bonus: the beds are super comfortable and the linens really high quality, even in the dorm. Also the city center is easily walkable (ca 20 mins).

They do not warn you or mention the shared bathrooms are actually semi-outdoors. That means you have to shower and go to the toilet amongst all the mosquitos and insects. We luckily got upgraded to the private en-suite room but otherwise I would’ve had to probably leave. They should undoubtedly tell prospective guests about these facilities - we felt somewhat misled. The pool is much thinner than it appears in photographs. Location is not great - very easy and cheap to Uber around but if you want to stay in a good location in Merida, I wouldn’t recommend choosing this hostel.

It’s aesthetically pleasing, and our private king room with en-suite was a very nice room - couldn’t fault it. Staff kind and helpful.

If you booked a place in a certain price and you get another one at the door there is no coming back from this… The “manager” who came to assist the receptionist should definitely change profession.

Nice clean place but noisy and very incompetent staff. I gave this place a second chance and there will be no third for sure. For this price you can get way better value and atmosphere in Merida.

The pools were dirty, there were no towels provided for the pool area, bikes could only be rented for the full day - no flexibility at all for two hours only.

It’s cute and looks exactly like the pictures. The colour really makes it something unique and special
