Is a very big complex , I recommend you to go low season, as I did , be prepared to do files or line for breakfast , a lot of activities with high volume , for us as a couple , we prefer peace environment , is perfect for family time.

Good location and facilities , the staff super nice , hard workers and very kind , specially the housekeeper, restaurants staff as Daniel , Aaron and activities as Adelina . I left my phone in the beach restroom and a guest safe it with security guard!Thank you.

We went to Cancun for scuba diving. We selected this hotel because it was well located, and has everything we needed.

There were some decent food options, but not as much if you were vegan (and items that could have easily been made vegan, like beans, were cooked with pork grease that made it more of a stretch for me health wise). They were kind of slow restocking water in the fridges and I had to ask about 3 times before I could finally get more. I couldn’t wait to get back home and eat/drink more healthy again. I also wish they had more fresh options like smoothies, etc. especially since the fresh fruit often didn’t taste great or wouldn’t be that ripe or sweet yet. A lot of the staff were nice but some like at the front desk could have worked on their attitudes and came off as unwelcoming or unwilling to do simple requests even despite how much we paid per night (like giving us more water or making a pizza more vegan friendly by just not adding the cheese or offering another meal alternative so I could eat something). It came off as kind of cheap from them and didn’t feel like an all-inclusive (I’ve been at others where the service and what’s included are way better). Instead of having a worry free trip, I did often have to actually worry about getting my own food from uber eats or asking multiple times for housekeeping or for water to drink so I wouldn’t be dehydrated. I expected the resort to have amazing tacos or something, but I don’t think there was even one night where they did which was disappointing! I think that could have been a hit. The snack bar usually had the same meals every day: fries, wings, stiff looking pizza. Even at the spa, some of their practices just came off as cheap, like having spa guests re-use each other’s spa shoes and robe they gave us (instead of just letting the guest keep their own for sanitary reasons or given the price). I was pretty surprised at that and didn’t realize they reused literally everything. The beach also had a lot of seaweed.

Most of the restaurant staff were kind and thoughtful (some not so much but most were). You could relax here if that was your goal, and they had pretty good entertainment in the afternoons and evening. The drinks were pretty good. Sometimes the food was good. The rooms were pretty clean. You definitely felt safe at this resort which was nice. The ocean view was great and the pool is really nice.

Bar closes too soon (11pm). Breakfast was not as great as we expected (not bad, but just not as good as the other meals).

I didn’t like how the pool closes at 8-9. They close all the bars at 11pm which is kind of an inconvenience since we pay for an all inclusive. The food is not even really edible, but I am a picky eater. Your only allowed 1-2 dinner reservations depending on how many days your stay is & they get booked fast so you have to book dinner reservations atleast 1-2 days in advance, not day of. The ‘bar’ it says you have in your room is only 3 beers & a few different cokes & water bottles. The buffet is NOT open 24/7. They have a snack station on the 2nd floor that is open 24/7 which is very minimal options, but had the best food compared to the actual buffet especially for picky eaters as myself .

The rooms were very clean & the location of the resort was perfect for us personally. 8 minutes away from the hotel zone.

Location really good. Next to port that takes you to Mujeres Island. Close to the city, 15 min drive. Taxi cabs in front of hotel. Staff and place we're really nice, food 8 out of 10. The restaurant's system of booking isn't friendly, can't reschedule in case of emergency or plan changes. Vanilly Cabrera the waiter from the buffet, Amazing, super helpful and attentive. The beach was amazing too. Good location in general. My mom had an accident and hotel borrowed the wheel chair

We found the buffet breakfast very busy and it took a while to get a table if you went late morning.

It was nice having the man made beach as an option to spent time at, it was also swimmable in comparison with other beaches that were plagues by seaweed.

Carmen, Juana, Jose, Sandra, Henry, Gerado, Jahir (bartenders/waiters/waitresses) are INCREDIBLY AWESOME. So hard-working. So fun to talk to. Regina, Jade, and Giovanni (entertainment staff)... amazing. They do not have an easy job. Their energy and ability to be genuine with guest is impressive. Loved the ladies at the front desk. Paulina, Esme, and _____. I was originally planning to stay at Occidental for 5-6 days. Because of these people, I stayed there for 10 days. And when my daughter and I visit in September, we will be staying here (reservations already made!).

How They líed and held back the truth and told us about a nice breakfast and tour at their other hotel at no Point we were told about time share and that our breakfast will be along some one else on our table . I even asked to clarify when i suspected some thing and they kept asking for our credit cards. While still at our hotel Our morning was ruined. If it wasn’t for this it will of been a 10.

Beach is too small. I didn't like the way of the tour desk offer the membership of their Club.
