CanadaNo Indian breakfast Less options for Vegetarian people especially in breakfast. Cabana reservations policy is irritating, mostly unoccupied with reservation tag .Theu should abolish it . Very high prices of spa Uber not allowed inside the property gate , nexus of security staff with taxi unions, you have to walk/ wait on road for uber , only taxi allowed inside .
The staff is amazing, hospitality is awesome . Facilities, pool , bars , restaurants great ! Beach access , room service everything was great .

United StatesNot much we didn’t like, only real recommendation we have is maybe one more bartender or person at the adults only pool. Also, maybe an adults only section for rooms, we were celebrating our anniversary and got stuck next to a very unhappy baby for the last part of our stay. And bring back the fish and shrimp tacos to the snack bar!
We love the Hyatt Ziva, the food, the adults only pool, the world class gym, and the staff are all amazing!

United StatesSome minor issues-it appears the resort is still u see construction or needs to touch up/finish certain areas. Some parts appear damaged or needs repair but can’t tell if they would ever get to it given the location of the damage (ex/ in our room on the balcony there were a few tiles by the railing that were missing. Not sure if this was going to be replaced or left till a later time. Another one was a gaping hole on the water pipe for one of the urinals in the men’s bathroom on the third floor. Again would like to emphasize that this was a very minor issue. The much bigger issue was the disappointing dinner buffet. The morning buffet in comparison is almost night and day. I assume this is by design to push everyone to go to the other restaurants at the resort, but we felt like the dinner buffet was almost like an after thought and could use some improvement.
Clean. Rooms were amazing. And the gym was next level. The layout of the resort makes perfect sense.

United StatesWish there were more options to choose from for room service. It would be nice for someone to give a tour of the property. The adult pool was hard to find it was so secluded. Almost missed the waterpark too.
I loved the nice view. It seemed updated. Easy to find restaurants. Loved the seating in the lobby and open concept. The bush by the pool by the bar obstructs the view.

United StatesThe live pool activities were annoying at times, too loud and too long- they took away from the relaxation at the pool (recommend these be held in a different area, not the main pool). We were happy with the breakfast buffet, but the dinner at the Habachi restaurant and Mexican restaurant and buffet were really sub-par. Did not enjoy those meals at all. We ended up going off site for 2 or our 4 nights. Beware that any private transportation booked through the hotel was outrageously expensive ($200 roundtrip to go to a restaurant in town was insane).
Staff was excellent (especially Santiago at the pool and Alfredo in the buffet), drinks were good, grounds were beautiful, room was big and clean, there were always pool chairs available, breakfast was good. Also really liked the lobby bar and coffee shop. Concierge was very helpful.

Excellent food and staff. My grandchildren really enjoyed the kids club, you could tell that the staff was well organized and really loved the children. This is a wonderful hotel for families.

CanadaOur only issue was the loud techno dance music that played poolside for much of every afternoon along with silly games that guests didn't readily engage in.
A beautiful property...The staff worked so hard to make our stay memorable. (Good to take peso notes for tipping as finding change to do this was sometimes difficult) We enjoyed having many restaurants to choose from and overall the food including the buffet was good. The view from our 6th floor king room was incredible and our room was well appointed. Splurged on one extra...sunset dinner on the beach which didn't disappoint.

United StatesI have no complaints there was construction going on but it did not take away from how great the experience was.
I loved the ambiance the staff were phenomenal, amiable and considerate the small details really matter and the hotel is beautiful but truly the stuff made the stay 10/10 specially Alan and Cinthia in the sports bar, went above and beyond. Angel and Diego in reception made our check in and check out seamless (we were a big group of 9) Miriam in house keeping was incredible the amount of detail and care was amazing and our server Blanca was exceptional gave us good recommendations and made us feel at home. The hibachi chef Sergio also made our hibachi night a special night and my favorite night of all food was delicious and the show was awesome!

United StatesThe only downside I have is… I did arrive a day early to make sure all the requests for cribs and adjoining rooms were met.… I’m glad I did that because even though I had requested it months in advance, they were not sure if they had cribs for us. All is well that ends well.
First and foremost… The staff!…! The staff at Hyatt Ziva greeted us each day with a smile… Made us feel welcome and cared for. The spa! The spa is amazing as is the spa staff… I booked massages for my family through Carlos. He was amazing as was Irma who gave me my massage. The spa is beautiful and I highly recommend it. The oceanfront restaurant every morning for breakfast… You can’t beat the view. Plus, although we made a mess with three small children… The staff greeted us each morning like they knew us. I want to mention Alex at the transportation/excursion desk was also very knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you, Hyatt Ziva.

United StatesThere was a crib set up in my mother's room when she arrive (my mom is 85) and she asked the staff to remove the crib but they never did. The crib sat in her room for the entire 5 nights that we stayed there. The room was occupied by my 85 year old mother and teen daughter. No need for a crib.
