  • “It's the perfect beach location: on the beach. No road, not even a pedestrian road between your cabaña and the beach. Very authentic. Quiet location, no beach parties or anything like that. I highly recommend.”

  • Casa la Ola Review score: 9

“This is a beautiful property, very imaginatively and tastefully designed. The pool is small but lovely and it's a short walk to the beach. It's nice the property is set back from the beach so everything doesn't get sandy. My one quibble is that the breakfast could have been a bit more imaginative. It was fine, but if you are booking I'd suggest not including breakfast as there are lots of breakfast options nearby. A lovely place to stay.”

  • Nani Review score: 9.2

“Stunning view and atmosphere. The room was very clean even though it’s a cabanne. The girl that checked us in has been really helpful and provided us lot of suggestions.”

  • Cabañas Las 3 Marias Review score: 8.7

“It's a nice hotel and our room was very big. We enjoyed the pool and the beautiful views. You can walk easily to restaurants and the beach.”

  • Cabañas Punta Placer Review score: 9.3

“Great location right at the beach, amazing view and friendly staff. Also very close to some nice restaurants / coffee places.”

  • H20 Hotel Container Review score: 9.4

“Lovely staff, very clean, great cabins and pool, delicious pizza.”

  • Zazil Retreat Review score: 9.3

“Sleeping with the ocean waves in the background and waking up with a fantastic view of the sea - Zazil is like a little piece of paradise on earth. While the drive to the retreat is steep, the reward is a peaceful location far off all noise and with a spectacular view. The beach is within a 10 minute walk and way less crowded than in Puerto Escondido or even Mazunte. Christa was a fantastic host with a unique mix of Mexican hospitality and gruff North German humour, which we thoroughly enjoyed. She gave us fantastic recommendations and even took us to Agua Blanca, which is a secret spot where we had the beach practically for ourselves. All in all, it felt like being part of the family.”

  • Casa la Ola Review score: 9

“Amazing location and views over the ocean, but only 5 minutes walk away to fantastic beach and bars. Lovely staff.”

  • Cabañas Uma 2 Review score: 9.4

“Beautiful location steps away from the beach. You must try dinner and breakfasr at the beach reastaurant while you are there. All of the waiting staff are really nice. Beach blanskets and a cooler are provided free of charge by the hotel Severeal seating areas. Including the terrace facing a jungle. The two fans works wonders to keep you chll in the blisteing heat. Housekeeping lady is sweet, and the host showed compassion when I was at a really low point in life. Didnt use the kitchen but it looked to be in great condition. Highly recommend it to both solo travellers and groups interested in exploring the area. Bring a vacay mindset, and be aware of the unpredictable water currents. Watch out for the red beach flags.”

  • Posada Paloma Review score: 8.4

“Great location with beach just across the road. Delicious breakfasts and coffee served in a pretty and peaceful courtyard/ garden. Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Fans kept the air moving making it comfortable for bedtime.”
