Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United Arab EmiratesIt is very very expensive and sometimes the basic stuff is overpriced. Also sometimes the wait for buggies took longer than we would have liked it. 10/10 resort but loses a couple of points based on buggy’s and cost
Very clean and professionally run. Beautiful set up and well Maintained and definitely a five star setting

United KingdomTypical of many Maldives locations, but especially of top brand resorts, things could be a little pricey but you just have to factor that into your trip and enjoy the fabulous resort.
Service was impeccable and always with a smile. Staff were superb. Overwater villa was large with great amenities and facilities. View was great. Sea life was great. Food was very good. Housekeeping and restocking twice daily was always very thorough.

AustraliaEvery aspect was absolutely amazing, from the service to the whole experience itself, all well considered and worth the money. All of the staff members were extremely genuine and considerate of visitor’s comfort and the breakfast had a great variety with delicious pastries. The experience of riding bikes across the island and swimming in the private pool (which was beautiful, right outside was the ocean) is a memory we will never forget. Just like a dream. Overall, would come again!

Switzerlandif you have half bord you get a 100 USD credit for the dinner. Minus tax you have at the end only 80 USD per person. But if the food cost 300 USD then you will pay ALWAYS much more than your credit is. Beverages are also not included in this 80 USD. Normal (not special) food is also too expensive. At the end the Price-performance ratio for food is not good.

United Arab EmiratesI was surprised to find out the island is man made. So if your used to sandy Maldivian beaches, clear blue water, and lush jungles this isn’t the place to book. Went for a dip by our water villa and was surprised to see lots and lots of tiny rocks and dead plants floating in the sea, not something I’m used in the Maldives. Even walking on the beach is not up to expectations, I saw plastic bags filled with something under the sand supporting the sand might be part of the man made issue. Every evening they spray bug spray before sunset, so forget about that fresh plant smell, you smell pesticides instead. They brag about having 11 restaurants but not all are open daily, and you only have one option that’s open for lunch, also no shows or dancers or any entertainment at night we felt pretty bored in the evenings, they kept stating it happened on Friday every time I asked them about something. All in all, visually appealing hotel, great staff… but with the things I stated above … not worth the price nor deserving of a 9.8 rating !
Lets start with the luxurious mode of transport, the yacht was a breath of fresh air and a relief from having to deal with seaplanes. The interior of the room was beautiful and the hotel in general was a 10/10 design wise. Terra, Amber, & Zuma were amazing great ambience & design. The staff were exceptional, smiles everywhere and very professional, Fanni was our personal concierge and went above and beyond to provide us with whatever we may need. She also surprises us by asking the waiters at Zuma to arrange a birthday dessert for my friend which was so sweet, as well as providing us with a beach villa to relax in before leaving the island in the evening after checking out from our overwater villa. Afrah, apparently a bellboy .. someone I found online while searching for videos of the resort on Snapchat encouraged me to come stating I shouldn’t believe the weather forecast, lol. He deserves to be the resort ambassador lol, if it wasn’t for his coverage and videos I wouldn’t have confirmed my booking.
