My stay at Tropical Stay Thulusdhoo was nothing short of incredible. It’s more than just a hotel — it felt like a home away from home, nestled in the heart of a peaceful local island. 🛏️ Accommodation & Facilities: The room and washroom were exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The hotel provided a fully functional kitchen, which was a huge plus — we often cooked our own meals and enjoyed them at our own pace. Even more convenient was the washing machine, which kept our clothes fresh throughout the trip. 🌊 Location & Convenience: The beach was just a short walk away — perfect for daily swims or quiet sunset moments. A restaurant was located right nearby, so we never had to walk far for a delicious meal. 👨‍🍳 Unforgettable Hospitality – Special Thanks to Habib Bhai: What made this stay truly memorable was the staff — especially Habib, whom I fondly called Habib Bhai. He was more than a hotel staff member — he became a friend. He took us fishing, invited all the guests for a big BBQ party (for free!), and handled everything himself with such genuine care. He also helped us book our water sports, and personally guided us around the island to make sure we saw everything. 👋 Owner’s Warm Welcome: The owner, Muiss, was also a very nice and down-to-earth person. He personally came to pick us up from the speedboat terminal, and even let us go snorkelling using his own gear — including masks and all the necessary equipment. That level of personal attention is rare and deeply appreciated. 💬 Overall: If you’re looking for a peaceful, authentic Maldivian experience with warm local hospitality, clean and comfortable accommodation, and everything you need within walking distance, I highly recommend Tropical Stay Thulusdhoo. It’s the kind of place that stays with you — not just for the beaches, but for the people you meet.

The room was big and clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower is good. It was also nice having a kitchen and washing machine available. The location is perfect for nearby restaurants and convenience stores. Habib was really attentive and always on hand to help via WhatsApp with any questions we had, he arranged all the tours for us and cleaned our room every couple of days. We couldn't be happier with his service. Only thing I'd suggest is changing a couple of the lights as they'd sometimes flicker.

Windows are not soundproof, so we could hear all conversations and moving late at night and early mornings.

Habib was helpful and attentive as soon as we arrived. Gave us lots of info on excursions, places to visit, local things to know. Teas coffees and water given. Fridge kettle and cooking facilities. 5min walk to beach. Shower was hot. WIFI was good. Bed was comfy. Room was clean. Communal space kept tidy.

We loved our stay here. It was close to everything we needed; beach & restaurants. The bed was super comfortable and the property was clean. Thank you to Habib for making our stay comfortable and organising the Shark & Stingray snorkel trip. We talked to a few companies and the one organised by Habib was the most competitive. Bonus is that they also have a very cute kitten!

There's nothing to not like... close to the beach and comfortablerooms with fridge kettle stove pots pans plates bowls silverware everything... very good ... no windows on my room but not a big deal you spend most of the day at the beach anyway

Great value place in Thulusdhoo. Room is big enough and bed comfortable AC powerful and nice and new updated bathroom/shower ... kitchen to use and a great staff member ... very good place for us budget travelers in Maldives !!!! Close to (not on) the beach

We went to Tropical stay as a couple to enjoy our honeymoon, and it was really an enjoyable experience. Habib, our host, greeted us from the moment we arrived with friendliness. He always made sure we were comfortable during our stay and shared with us what to visit and valuable tips. Moreover, he cooked us a delicious enjoyable dinner one night. From beginning to end, we really recommend this place highly enough and would like to stay here again whenever we are back!

Property is well-maintained, very accessible to the beach and lots of little cafes at proximity. Our host Habib was amazing and made sure this stay was special and memorable to us! He was very kind and always helpful. And most importantly we felt safe and well taken care of. ☺️

Everything. The place is perfect. The rooms are exactly what you need and great for the price! Extremely comfy beds!!! Which is the most important. Safes in the room, not that you need them, the island is so safe and the guesthouse is secure. Cute little outdoor area to chill in. Kitchen to cook in and make breakie, coffee etc. hot water and new bathrooms. AC which is much needed :). Muiss and his staff are just amazing! They helped us with everything and were always there when we needed! Highly recommend and will for sure come back and stay

Tropical Stay is a fantastic place to call home on Thulusdhoo. I stayed for over two weeks, and it was a wonderful experience. I missed the first speed boat from Male airport to Thulusdhoo, and Muiss (the owner) drove to the airport from Male to help get me on an expedited speed boat to the island. This was beyond my expectations. While we waited, he even treated me to a coffee and suggested activities to do for my stay. My room was perfect upon arrival. It was spacious, very clean, and the AC worked extremely well. The WIFI was the best I experienced so far on my travels. Habib is the facilities operator and is an incredible host. He took me to see shark and stingrays at night on the peer, cooked amazing fish dinners, and helped me go to the clinic for dizziness from ear an infection. He can also set up tours, transportation, or find items you may be looking for on the island. His hospitality was simply amazing! Tropical Stay has a great kitchen, covered lounge area, and is right down the street from a great restaurant.

It was unusual not to have a wondow in the room, but it makes sense as they try to keep the place cool. The room was spaceous, but it would have been nice to have a small table and a chair.

Very supportive, friendly staff. Muizz was always there, kind and helpful. The bed was super-comfortable, and hot water was always available. There were snorkeling masks to use for free, bicyckle could be borrowed, tea and coffee , bottlef water unlimited. Forever greatful for all the assistance organising programs, and not letting me get lost even in Male!

I really enjoyed my stay at Tropical Stay. The room and bathroom were clean. The bed was very comfortable. The host Muis was very helpful and kind. He arranged a transfer for me from and to the airport. Whatever you need help with, Muis can help. I highly recommend this place.

Good location and relaxed place to stay. Very clean rooms and bathrooms. If need any help, stuff will help. Also there is coffee and tea, water, and toast bread with jam etc, all day long you can have a coffee break. Owner arranged for us a transfer speed boat. Will recommend this place!

A true Gem! Muiz and Habib do their best to make their guests satisfy. Rooms are very comfortable, AC works great. Everything is superclean and well kept.The mattress was soo comfy and the place is very quiet. Brand new bathroom with hot shower and a strong water pressure. Shampoo provided. Coffee and Tea free and available 24/7.Strong Wifi. Pickup from harbor included. Muiz arranged a visit at the Coca-Cola factory and gave me a lot of informations about excursions, where to eat and so on. Will miss this place. Don't hesitate, book, highly recommend!
