Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United Arab EmiratesThe only activity we were able to enjoy from the all-inclusive package was scuba diving. Unfortunately, all other activities were cancelled due to unsuitable weather conditions, which was quite disappointing.
Nice rooms and friendly staffs.

United Arab EmiratesMaybe they can offer bikes to ride to water villa. And they can include more seafood to the menu.
Our water villa was very spacious and beautiful with all needed amenities, very clean and nicely decorated and staff was very helpful. Our muallimi (guide) helped us with everything on a first day. Even they provided us with day villa for early check in while we were waiting for our water villa. And the same on last day, they offered day villa for late check out.

United KingdomMore live music would be better. the best night entertainment was when local singers / bands were in. this happened 3 times during our stay (the musicians/singers were amazing!!!!), which would normally be ok if the other nights had some other form of entertainment. Unfortunately outside a pool party where nobody was dancing at (it is not an island for parties... that is clear) the other night the entertainment was a bit poor (one night was a movie night watching "daddy day care".... not enough for a 5-star resort). Food was good but variety was not great. if you don't like indian curries and stir-fries, you are in trouble: the other options are pizzas and pasta and they are ok, but not great. the Grilled meat/fish section was ok. Vegetarian options are limited and Vegan options even more. Salad bar is not great. you will not get a full meal out of it if you just fancy a salad. Don't get me wrong. the staff is happy to accommodate special requests too and you will always find something nice to eat. But after a 3-4 days it gets boring... score: 7/10 but if you are a vegetarian/Vegan probably would go down to 6.5/10. It is a small resort. and not on the posh side (which we liked! more of a beach vibe than posh), so a lot of the above is expected... especially as an all inclusive. but I think it should be improved a little, especially the variety of food.
Island is small and felt quite private. it was only at ~60% capacity when we were there so it was very quiet and relaxing (I think it will not feel super busy even at full capacity, which I was told is around 100 guests) The staff is amazing (it really is!) and we where very happy with our stay. Facilities were ok, but being a small resort there is only 1 main restaurant and 1 other a-la-carte restaurant that serves more or less the same food. There is no concrete on the island so your feet are always on sand the moment you step outside your room (there was wood floor inside our room). Room was decorated nicely and had all the facilities. outdoor shower was awesome (and still very private... don't worry). the main bar and at the pool is were all the entertainment is (there could be more of it in my opinion). The Pool is nice but not massive. Food was good (we were all-inclusive. which I recommend as there is effectively only 1 place to eat in there!). but see variety was not great. great indian curries, great stir-fries, ok pizza ok pasta and good grilled meat/fish (tuna) pretty much every day. the staff, considering the size of the island, they go the extra mile to arrange small activities to keep guests occupied, not a lot overall but cooking class was good and the art class was also cool. There is a small shop in the island... which has got very little in it... so bring everything you need! (but I am sure the staff will be able to accommodate any request) Would I go back? for sure! I loved it! but if the weather is bad... there is really nothing to do in there... so bear this in mind.

United KingdomAll good
Everything. Excellent speed boat trip and welcome. Our induction with Shifu was really informative and she looked after us our whole stay. The food is absolutely delicious, the chefs cook to an incredibly high standard. The Maldivian cooking class exceeded our expectations too. The room was exceptionally clean. Well stocked every day. We saw a pod of dolphins, manta ray, sharks and amazing fish from our sun beds at the back of the resort. The snorkelling is mind blowing you are right on a reef. The sunset cruise was good and the snorkelling tour. The rituals bought calm in this very ugly world at the moment.

ItalyOur first experience in the Maldives welcomed us with the courtesy and extreme availability of the Oaga Art Resort. In addition to the wonderful Nature, we were assisted for every need and requirement by a trained staff capable of putting us at ease in every circumstance. New Year's Eve was celebrated in a very joyful way, with an intercontinental dinner and decidedly beautiful music. A characteristic of the resort was precisely to propose bands capable of playing rock or other types of music at a high level, always involving the guests, if desired by them and ensuring serenity and quiet for those seeking them. Wonderful snorkeling with turtles and our first diving experience with the expert in this sector by whom we were guided with extreme care and attention to see a marine fauna and environment. We highly recommend Oaga art resort to anyone who wants to spend a stay in the Maldives with the possibility of choosing between absolute quiet or even exploration activities associated with extremely pleasant evenings. We will return as soon as possible!
