Although the experience was great, there are couple of areas for improvement: Arrival Experience: While the staff was welcoming, the arrival could be more festive. We were greeted at the jetty and taken to reception, but it would have been nice to have a bit more ceremony — perhaps local music, traditional instruments, or local flowers presented to the neck with a cultural touch. It would elevate that “first impression” moment significantly. Evening Entertainment: The evening shows were a bit underwhelming — some lacked energy or creativity. We would love to see more dynamic performances, such as a multi-performer fire show, circus shows , or culturally themed nights. A more immersive or varied program would really add value after sunset.

We recently returned from a magical stay at Nova Maldives, and it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was warm, personal, and deeply attentive. 🥐 Breakfast & Dining Experience The breakfast buffet was a standout — beautifully presented, with a wide variety of fresh options to suit every taste. They even provided avocado as per request. Whether you’re into tropical fruits, pastries or hearty hot dishes, there’s something for everyone. Most importantly, the staff were incredibly attentive, always ready to help, and keeping everything spotless. 🛏️ Accommodation We stayed in an overwater villa, and it was absolutely stunning. The villa was spacious, modern, and immaculately maintained. We especially appreciated the twice-a-day cleaning service — our room always felt fresh and cared for. 👨‍🍳 Service & Staff The service was truly world-class. Every staff member went above and beyond, but we want to give a special mention to: • All the waiters were extremely polite and nice, like Amir – incredibly professional, warm, and attentive • Ashraf – always smiling and made every meal feel special, offered his help many times and offered extra service. They made us feel welcome and remembered the little details, which added such a personal touch. 🤿 Diving Club – A Highlight of the Trip The on-site diving club was phenomenal. We joined the whale shark hunt, and it was an unforgettable experience. Huge thanks to: • Shiyaan – knowledgeable, patient, and deeply passionate about marine life • Jerry – fun, experienced, and made us feel completely safe in the water, even helped me not to sink as it was very difficult to swim while you are pregnant and trying to follow whale shark Their team was professional yet approachable — whether you’re a beginner or experienced diver, you’ll be in excellent hands.

Everything exceeded our expectations! The variety of activities, the quality of service, and the cleanliness of the rooms were all outstanding. The food options were diverse and delicious at every meal—breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I would especially like to mention the Moroccan chef and the waiter Ashraf; they were both incredibly helpful and made our stay even more enjoyable. Also, the front desk staff were very welcoming, professional, and always ready to assist with a smile. Highly recommended!

The type of room we chose meant that our "bathroom" was outdoors. Inside the room was air-coned, but when you had to go to the bathroom (whether it's to go toilet or take a shower) - it was super hot because Maldives is a super hot country. It was an interesting experience, but for those that prefer a little more comfort, it might be better to choose the more expensive type/s of room

A very unique experience to say the least - first the organising of the Seaplanes was amazing and well co-ordinated Expensive but most certainly worth the money. Greetings from the staff and explanation from the staff was informative and concise. Activities on the island were super easy to book and use (things such as; snorkelling gear, dolphin trips, kayaking, spas/massages, along with lunch or dinner at any of the restaurants) There were 2 very local souvenir shops. The complimentary photoshoot was also a very memorable experience. There is a pool on one side of the island and it is awesome to have (just because sometimes you don't want to jump into seawater) Nothing about the room itself, but the fact this is an island means it has many fishes swimming around - we were ecstatic to see a coral reef shark and to be able to swim near so many different types of colourful and beautiful fishes, honestly an unforgettable experience Our room cleaning was looked after by Easa - a very polite man and thorough with his cleaning. The room was cleaned twice a day and there were a couple times when my wife and I was in the room and he asked us if it was okay to clean now or come back later. No shortcuts, bed was made, floor was swept, towels and other amenities replenished. A+ service!

Honestly, nothing! Everything exceeded our expectations – from the stunning villa to the amazing food and warm hospitality. We only wish we could’ve stayed longer!

We had the most incredible stay at Nova Maldives! The facilities are top-notch, and the staff are beyond friendly – everyone made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. We stayed in a Water Villa with a pool, and it was absolute heaven – waking up to those ocean views was pure bliss. The food was consistently amazing, with great variety and quality across all meals. Honestly, 5 days just wasn’t enough – we could have easily stayed longer. Special shoutout to Kevin – he’s such a gem! Super friendly, full of positive vibes, and really made our stay extra memorable. The Supremacy Band were another highlight – they brought amazing energy to the evenings and were so fun to jam with. Absolute stars! The team really took care of us from beginning to end – even making sure our departure went smoothly and that we didn’t miss our flight. Truly above and beyond. Nova is a slice of paradise – we’re already dreaming about our return!

It’s a truly magical place to unwind and find peace. The staff is attentive, kind, and always ready to help — incredibly friendly too. The facilities are modern, spotless, and very comfortable. The views and the beach are absolutely stunning. The apartment, with its sea views, private jacuzzi, and direct staircase access to the ocean, was simply unbeatable. I truly hope to return someday.

Beautiful nature, relaxing, super service. Its really a little ‘paradise’. Only downside (but expected) is that some of the watersport or massages for example are quite $$$, but besides that beautiful.

Only negative of the trip was Mizu restaurant. The teppanyaki cooked food was very poor, drenched in oil and soy sauce. Not at all like real teppanyaki cooking.

Wonderful resort, very helpful and kind staff. Good variety and quality of food at Soul Kitchen. Great local scuba diving. House reef not great, but okay if you go outside the erosion barriers.

Pool: need to be more cold, water was really very hot. Construction: there were some construction on the island for2 following days.

I liked everything about the island, knowing that it was my second trip at nova. Staff are really amazing and friendly. Every single person on that island are really doing a great job. Food was really delecious and good variety,

Food is great but would be even better if it has more variety. Some water activities can be a bit pricey but Nova also have complimentary on-island activities which is great.

House reef is amazing. Food is great. Staff is friendly. The room is big and the bed is very comfortable.Overall, we were very happy with our stay! Thanks Nova.

For us, it may not have attachments that may have constructive things that can improve certain aspects. Both food and dinner have very varied dishes but perhaps a little monotonous, knowing we're isolated, I don't think you can do more than you do but if you need any advice, I'll be happy to offer you it. Spanish cuisine is very rich and I know that with a little practice you can be a referent in gastronomic maldives.

The hotel staff are wonderful, I would like to emphasize the staff who are in the restaurant buffet, from the wonderful girl who attends us in the crepes (with nutella) that I eat the edges of the crepe (his wonderful smile) to the person who toward the omelets and all the team of waiters who knew you were going to drink every day. They remembered it. Room staff are wonderful, always with a smile, the hotel staff in general, is worth it, always people willing to help you at all times. The value of the hotel is in people, in all of them who work to make your stay unique. I didnt remember names but everyonr are so special for us, we would like to be back again.

Not really Nova's fault, hence no point deduction, but we unfortunately didn't see the whale sharks on our half-day-trip, which was one of the reasons why we booked a resort in this atoll. To be fair, they said the chance is 50:50, however in another resort, they only WENT if the animals were actually seen by scouts. That could be an option, but maybe the area is too big for scouts.

We have been to 3 resorts in total and this was definitely the best. All worked super smoothly, from being picked up at the airport, to transferring to the seaplane terminal, to a comfortable Manta Air seaplane ride without any waiting time. The island is small and intimate, easily walkable with a beautiful beach and house reef for snorkelling, where we saw several black tip reef sharks, soooo many fish, an egale ray etc. The overwater villa was extremely spacious and so comfortable, with direct access to the water. The food was delicious (we booked full-board which was more than enough for us) and staff was extremely friendly. We also used the gym, which is nicely located with a full glass front in the middle of the island. In hindsight, we would only stay in Nova :)

The food was not super tasty in all the restaurants. When we booked Japanese restaurant nobody informed us that it is not included to FB plan. It was misleading and not so obvious because in other similar resorts we had all restaurants included.

The room was amazing—spacious and luxurious! It was definitely worth choosing the villa with a pool. The staff were friendly and polite throughout our stay. I also appreciated the smooth communication with the hotel when arranging our transfer for arrival. We truly felt welcomed and that the hotel cared about our arrival. Possibility of early breakfast (around 6 am) much appreciated!
